Pip management are perusing the back shelves now in search of a new type of snake oil to sell. Be expecting fraudulent letter to come out, like the one they sent to the FDA making false claims. Talk about corporate welfare, Pip has made nothing except lawyers and maybe a judge or two a lot of money. Apparently we live in a society that rewards corruption and incompetence.
Because Pip's management are crooks and they will think of a way to "reinvest" the money in the shell company to keep paying themselves. There will be no big payout as fleabrane is extolling.
Come on drod, yes siga is a lousy company but did you forget that monkeypox and smallpox are both orthopox viruses and st246 works on all orthopox viruses? I can understand your bitterness with siga having gone frome 15 to .50 because their management could not effectively fight off an obviously fraudulent companies attack, but regarding the drug the facts are the facts.
Right Drod, you get a penny and the lawyers get the rest. As if they haven't made out already... but not as well as the judges have. It is amazing that a sheeeitball company with no product and a failure to bring one to market having been reprimanded by the FDA for sending fraudulent information can steal with the aid of several third parties the profits of a company who was successful at making and marketing a product that has enormous potential to save countless innocent lives. I know you hate Rose, but there is something more fundamentally wrong with this picture.
You idiot, pip won't go above 2 and then management will siphon off everything. Or maybe you want to wait for Altuchers $20? Totally corrupt congress with the criminal/swindler Issa as the head of the ethics committee, what do you expect from the courts? They have a license to steal. Why did Parsons retire after handling this case... he got plenty of money. Wouldn't be surprised to see Strine retiring soon, he is a hole of an A. At least one of the judges were honest. Make America great again, it already is great, but it sure could use a little help making it honest again.
He is just being a good CEO by giving us a buying opportunity! I might buy a bunch just for the heck of it, the DSC decision is taking long enough that Siga may come out of bankruptcy and that would be at least a double from fiddy cent
even if pip wins and gets the full amount you can be sure pips management will water it down in enough different ways to pay themselves that there won't be enough left to split up to support the current price. The only winners here are Siga and Pip management and the lawyers.
At the time and still, there is uncertainty whether or not st246 will gain regulatory approval, it is uncertain if there will be competition (already CMX is cutting into the pie) and if it were being run by Pip would they even have gotten the drug to market (they were unsuccessful with their own product). If this isn't remanded due to the uncertain and speculative nature of damages let alone the fact that there was no contract in the first place I will have to accept the probability that the DSC is corrupt.
Yes, just think what pip could have done with st246, probably the same thing they did with sparvax: steal money from investors and send fraudulent information to the FDA. Siga should be suing them for bad faith when they misrepresented themselves as experts. Parsons couldn't see that therefore he is an idiot or corrupt, take your pick.
Fired? He is retiring, as he can well afford to if he got some undisclosed cash from an unnamed company or shorts. Sorry to see the departure of such a brilliant legal mind. And boy was he a workhorse, he really knew how to get the job done and make timely decisions.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
the non binding is a dead horse, but it is incredible how it was so easily assigned zero value in the argument.
I thought Lamb did much better that Pips attorney. The one judge was an arrogant A, maybe buddies with old Donald P, but the other two that spoke appeared reasonable. What has always looked biased to me was how the court overlooked Pips "mistakes" like putting non binding on the LATS and that Pip is a shell company with no viable product, and how Pip had a history of backing out of mergers, etc...This should have been kicked out of court in the beginning, You are right, should have sold when Rose did...lesson learned.
