Pip's expertise! Maybe they could have written the FDA a fraudulent letter for ST-246 like they are know for. Pip is good at conning at that is it.
Not only that, but wasn't Parsons supposed to rule on something in February. I though something would come out by now but as usual with Siga, I was wrong again. Parson's job is almost a good as Rose's, he lets his aides do the work and he just kicks it back to them until he likes it. He may be getting some good contributions to his retirement fund from Pip. Meanwhile Rose keeps upping his compensation and taking free shares because of the great job he is doing at increasing share holder value.
Maybe it was Pip that rubbed him the right way, almost retired and a little extra payola wouldn't hurt! Or do you think that never happens?
If they do talk it better be big. Wasn't Parsons supposed to do something in Feb? He must be too busy snacking on Valentine's candy sent by Pip.
Thanks Beav, but it wasn't too bad on the sum of the whole, I have been trading in an out of VTUS with trading shares and ended up about even. It is just that it seemed a good bet. I bought some more this morning to see if they can work up another cream frenzy. I bough Siga when it hit the ones and I actually am ahead on this one. Just missed a good score by not selling it all at 14, the bad part is I started buying Siga in increments on the way down as it passed 6. 6 was my worst case bottom for Siga, I was wrong but got lucky when I stocked up when it fell below 2. Had a good week thanks to CADX which was a rec from Ret quite a while back. He was right about it being used as soon as available.
Oh yeah, soligenix, I didn't buy that because I had some previously and it was just too small and iffy, and I had enough irons in the fire at the time. As for CREE, I think it was higher when you recommended it or I just thought it was expensive, but may be looking good now. I have to do something to make up for my large butt cream (VTUS) deficit I am suffering this morning. Maybe more CUR, I have a few k from the ones. I am going to go put my foot in the water with ITIXF, I hear they know how to party in Toronto and that the mayor is very entertaining! If I hadn't been through the whole Siga saga and seen for myself how strange Parsons is I would be buying Siga on cash to debt alone, CREE looks pretty good in that regard, let me go see what their plans are.
Golong, good post but they did refute it one time (maybe it was that thing from the shill from the LA times) and I thought it was the beginning of an onslaught but it petered out pretty quickly. I am surprised you don't remember it, but maybe that was when you were still a Pip cheerleader. But you are right, Siga put up a weak defense when being attacked from all angles.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I like slow but steady. I have ATRS for a long time and slow but sure rise and VTUS the butt cream extraordinaire. I can"t remember what happened to your non medical pick because there was something about it that put me off. Do you have an opinion on any pharma stocks now? On the more flashy side I have and have had INO and IDRA for a while now, sometimes cashing a few k and buying on the dips. Anything looking good to you? TIA
PS I have morphed into a salamander on the pond if you are familiar with it.
OK I can admit when I am wrong, Golong called the low this time. I passed on adding to my Siga yesterday and added to my IDRA on the dip below 4 because of the stock offering news and that has worked out pretty well. Took some profits off my CADX today again too. Meanwhile Siga languishes due to poor management and a senile judge.
with 2 dollars cash per share. FDA, foreign sales, pipeline.... I am afraid Drod is right about the management. 6 should have been the bottom even with the Pip/Parsons rip off. Sigh... I will probably start increasing holdings again today. Maybe I have Amlnitis.
And he just may want an extra retirement "bonus" from PIP!
Waiting for him to make a decision is like watching paint dry, but slower. I have almost never seen anyone work slower.
Almost everything red in my account of about 15 bios. Adding trading shares to everything (except Siga). Get some VTUS while it is dipping.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I looked PGNX and I like it, but it has had a good runup and I am a little concerned that the upside may not have much left to run. Your figure for the downside looks pretty reasonable and you have been very good with your upside/downside estimates. What do you think the upside is for PGNX if the current trial has positive data?
