Yes it is those gosh darn good annual and quarterly earnings. Good thing I did not buy when it broke out somewhere in the 30's.
I feel sorry for you. IBD had a positive article on HD a few days ago. I bought 250 shares. This is in addition to the 100 shares I bought when the price was in the 30"s Get a subscription to IBD. I have 500 shares of common. I have never bought preferred shares of any stock. Hoping to hold it for at least a year, but will sell if need be to lock in any profit from stock rising. There are other dividend stocks to buy.
A good article from IBD. Not sure if I will buy 100 shares or not. I bought 100 shares when it was priced in the 30's
The current div/yield is 1.50 (2.60%). I own 500 shares, so every full quarter I will get 1/4 * 1.50 *500 or $187.00? I plan to hold the stock for some increase in stock price.
30% quarterly income or ???. Show some figures and calculations. I bought in the 30's
