He isn't short anything. To be short you would have to have a margin account and no shot this guy has a margin account. He loses too much to even be allowed one. He is a nickel and dimer.

VALE will be fine
Bullet points will have to do.
1) VALE will have the largest expansion into the ore markets in 2016.
2) VALEMAX Ships will begin service to China this year [reduces delivery costs by 50%]
3) VALE is world's lowest cost producer and ore is 67% which commands a higher price than 62.
4) Australians are running out of 62% ore reserves and quality is dropping.
5) VALE nickel production is rising
6) China is trying to reduce its dependency on Australia, VALE is the natural alternative. At present VALE only sells about 19% of Chinese demand. Australia has about 65% and Chinese domestics which are foundering the rest
What about your predictions on the driller? How are your buys of RIG and SDRL at $30 doing? What about that brilliant prediction that no way oil can ever fall below $75 again? For the past year your have been right one time. Every other trade (which must be really small) has failed miserably.
Right, you called it. The market goes down because gays can legally marry. Brilliant analysis of the market. Idiot.
A nearby subdivision had the values of all the houses in the neighborhood go down a great deal because of all the Chinese dry wall. Evidently it was pretty #$%$ stuff and not too safe either. So, I would say that there is a lot of drywall (in houses that are actually nice) that is not made in China.
Should anyone who uses a made up word like "stupidest" call anyone stupid? Actually, virtually everyone in the industry compares AMZN and BABA. Maybe you are the "stupidest" person on these boards for not realizing that.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really think #$%$ being able to get married will effect the market? The only people that are upset are the ones that don't have anything in the market.
Idiot. First off, quit giving history lessons because it is completely false. The US won the war. Revisionists are the only ones that say something different. The Russian weapons don't even work all the time because they can't even produce spare parts. I remember during the fall of the Soviet Union how they said that the Soviet tanks didn't all have working communications - really great weapon systems, huh? When another country can take off from an air base in the middle of Missouri, fly to Baghdad, bomb the #$%$ out of it, and fly back without landing then get back to me. Fact is that the US is the only nation in the history of the world that is capable of projecting power any place in the world.
Well, uhh, Amazon and Ebay DID do what Ma is doing They did it first. Ma does have the added advantage of government assistance also. That is a plus.
You are right, the comparisons you are making are stupid. And wrong. Apple's success came from not doing the same thing as IBM. Microsoft's success came from not doing the same thing as Apple.
I know that if I owned a billion shares of BABA I would still have zero say in the company governance.
Apple's success did not come from copying IBM, it came from beginning in a new market to them and doing it better than anyone else. Microsoft did not copy Apple's success (hardware vs. software). The other examples are idiotic at best. The only similarities that Porsche and Benz have is they both manufacture vehicles and are foreign companies. Your reasoning is that anyone who makes cars or cooks hamburgers are copying - stupid argument at best.
But you can copy others and be successful, like Ma did.
His stock picking history is relevant because it shows he consistently picks losers. Fact. His reasoning is filled with made up facts that he wishes to be true and the only people I have seen on these boards that are dumber than he is are people who don't realize that he is dumb. Hint: that includes you.
Moron. You really think people base their investments on what people like you say on message boards? Wow.
I obviously know more than you do. I know this because since you felt the need to respond you must of read the other posts on this thread yet you did not feel the need to respond to the initial post. By not responding to it you must agree (since you felt the need to respond to this one) and therefore you must not know much of Chinese, or any history for that matter, The reason I say this is because the initial poster is routinely wrong and makes things up because he is nothing more than a cheerleader for the stock. Fact.
To use your argument that the people fought the Japanese, ok, the people also fought each other. And the people who lost are the ones who the Americans were allied with. Therefore, the initial premise that since we were allied with them over 75 years ago so we should somehow make sure they get certain lands back is laughable at best. It is irrelevant to not only our relations with Japan, but also to the sinking BABA share price. I wonder, are you one of the dopes on here than claim this thing will be a trillion dollar market cap? Keep dreaming. It isn't even a true public company and no new shareholders will never 'own' a piece of this thing. It was a buy when sentiment was high. No it is not.
The civil war was going on for over two decades. The truce was tentative. FDR an Stalin both sent emissaries to the respective sides to calm them down when one took advantage of one situation or another to slaughter the other side. Regardless, Cash is a moron who doesn't realize that the legitimate government at the end of WW II is the government that ended up in Taiwan.
