For those of you who think this reverse split is not the right thing for NVIV to do, please raise your hands, begin your exit at the back of the room and liquidate your entire portfolio on the way out. Please put the funds into the hands of a professional, or just park it in a saving account. Sheesh...........

I think we need to enact a "Stupidity Law" and take computers away from these goofs.

Apparently the sellers don't think that the device is safe? LOLOL. For the others who don't know that this is a safety study then please sell your shares and give your money to a professional to manage. Sheesh.....

  • "InVivo reported in January that Fallis had made significant progress in motor and sensory ability, and Fallis himself has posted numerous YouTube videos showing him moving his hips and upper legs. Stracham, who suffered her injury higher up on her spine than Fallis, has had to deal with lung function problems in addition to paralysis. Last Thursday (see correction, below), she had a three-month checkup, and while she says her doctors told her there was no significant medical change in her paralysis, she says she has started to feel a tingling in her toes and is able to slightly move her hips.

“I’m going to walk again. That’s a definite,” she said."

There must be a suitor trying to take control on the cheap. ARAY, with $400M in annual sales and a 35% growth rate should command a price in the high teens. I would imagine that a current offer is only coming in at $12. Huge Discount.

rwrop, every time I check in here and see one of your posts I can't help but wonder whether you and marc.eliot are one and the same person. The intelligence levels of both seem to be the same.

    R/S & UPLIST - Dates

    by stock_lurker Apr 3, 2015 4:00 PM
ucited ucited Apr 3, 2015 5:01 PM Flag

A buddy of mine submits the following facts (I know him and trust him, but those reading this should confirm):

"There were 4 reverse splits this year that were payable 03/27/15 and earlier, and were trading for at least $1 pre-split. 2 were winners and 2 were losers, calculated from date of announcement. The biggest winner was +115.15%. The largest loser was -13.38%."

I'll take my chances by holding....LOL.

Please tell me when we were "down almost 50% in 2 days". So you are now added to another group that should not be investing. In addition to those that don't know that a R/S is not a death knell and those who do not know that this is a safety study, we now have the emotional group who tends to exaggerate everything (YOU). Please sell out your portfolio, exit at the back of the room, and give your funds to a professional to manage. Or put them in a savings account.

Not perfect. Sales not quite there........however, cash flow better than expected. Spectacular Balance Sheet.
For that reason, this remains tremendously undervalued. My guess would be a mid-teens price over the near term.

Is there really somebody here who truly thinks that the people who don't understand the effect of a R/S on their equity value should be investing on their own? Really? And don't give me the #$%$ about educating someone. They need to be educated BEFORE they make an investment, not after. Their funds should be in the hands of a professional, or at least in ETFs. Maybe even just in a saving account at a bank. Sheesh.

    19.40. Why?

A $19.40 opening bad? LOL. I think it's great. It tells me that we're going back there and in fairly short order. Although for traders such as yourself it will probably feel like an eternity. Go ahead and sell.
For a long term investor like myself? Lovin' It!

Cash is not the issue. The issue is the sheer stupidity of these notes. It was such a poor deal that they should've just done a secondary at $12 and not hung the company with 30 years of notes that could be converted. SHEER STUPIDITY! Not to mention, oh yea, let's sell our equity at a lowball valuation so that we can continue paying dividends.....sheesh.

You stated "Hardly ever is a R/S seen as positive news".

and I know this will sound like I am attacking, but that holds true only for the simpletons. Anyone with experience and intelligence realizes and understands the complexities. Those that apply a broad brush in thinking that all R/S is negative just cannot comprehend.

Check the data on R/S failures VS. failures of companies with similar market caps and you may understand a bit better.

  • Someone trying to take control of ARAY?

  • ucited ucited Mar 24, 2015 6:13 PM Flag

No. There needs to be, at a minimum, a rudimentary understanding of the public stock markets and the basics of market cap valuation. If they don't have a handle on the basics, then they shouldn't invest on their own. Really just common sense. Get it? Otherwise they may as well go to Vegas where they'll probably experience more fun.

BTW, the guy who asks me where to invest $10,000? I start with ascertaining what he may, or may not, know and what his risk tolerance is. And reluctantly I may suggest a course of action. I don't tell anybody, let alone an idiot, where to put their hard earned money.

All of the above, just one man's opinion.

I'm not sure where to begin with this one. First, if you think that you can just pick one issue and do well, then good luck. I typically have 10-15 issues that I may own. This is out of a universe of what, 11,000 maybe?
I invest in them equally knowing that, although I hope to do well with all of them, I will probably have a couple of losers, a couple of market performers, 6 or 7 that will beat the market, and a couple that will be huge. I have done that to the point where I absolutely club market averages. However, I have a pretty good knowledge of financials and the markets. I do not believe in the paint by numbers approach.

Lastly, Warren Buffet (not a fan of his) owning just one stock? Really? LOL

Good Luck! I'm done on this topic other than to reiterate that those who do not have a command of the basics shouldn't invest on their own.

All of the above, just one man's opinion.
