    New patents

So, this new patent allows hundreds of unlicensed spectrum can be used to deliver wireless service to consumers? This sounds very significant development.

Any opinions from engineers would be appreciated.

    Significance of this new patent?

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Classical cognitive radios change frequency channels when the radio detects that interference level or other parameters associated with operation can be improved by moving to another frequency. Modern signal processing and multiple antenna technologies, however, allow expanded cognitive operation where receiver algorithms and transmit waveforms can be instantly and dynamically adjusted for operation in a particular environment.

Radio spectrum is a limited resource. A large amount of spectrum is required to deliver services that are associated with modern wireless personal communications. Typical examples are smart phone Internet applications, wireless streaming audio, and video, to mention a few. These services consume large amounts of spectral resources causing both financial and spectrum policy issues.

Typically these services are provided using licensed spectrum. A financial burden from licensing can be billions of dollars, even for a relatively small amount of spectrum. This is a large cost compared to freely available unlicensed spectrum. The licensing, however, is required to make sure that current 1G to 4G radio technologies have the coordinated access they require to deliver quality of service that is adequate for an end user application.

Currently in United States there are several hundred MHz of unlicensed spectrum that can be used for delivering wireless services to consumers, however, traditional radio technologies typically suffer from interference from uncoordinated access from other unlicensed users. A novel radio technology is required that can deliver service while being highly resistant to interference while also creating as little interference as possible to other users in the unlicensed band.

This invention describes a diversity combiner that operates as a maximal ratio combiner (MRC) when no interference is detected and as a selection combiner when OFDM symbol errors are detected with high probability.

What kind of bottom are you talking about? Pull up DXPE chart after horrendous e/r. That's the chart bottom I am talking about. Bashers over there said the same damn thing.

"no one buying floors anymore". Are you a caveman?

  • Oversold with P/E less than 20. Company will earn $3 per share.

With so much money floating around nowhere to go but the equity market, where will you put your money? There are value/special situation funds with flush cash waiting for opportunities like this. Company with big earnings and cash flow. And growing as the company will add more stores.

If the price stays down here, this will be taken private by PE firms or become a take over target. After hours with limited shares, market makers drive the price down to get more shares. Shorts won this round and they will cover down here.

I will hold for couple of weeks. This will play out just like DXPE.

    Sentiment: Buy

I was about to post that. It has gone up a little to 1.55mil. IMO, retail shorts piled on today on big spike. Will see how market makers handle them tomorrow. O/S per filing is 6.6mil and the float is 5.9mil. Institutions own 54.4%. If institutions hold their shares, the short float could be about 50%

Look at USU trading yesterday and today. USU is in bk proceeding and current shareholder will receive 5% of the reorganized company. There was a news that they will receive $2.5mil funding from US government. Stock ran from $3 yesterday to $12 intraday today. And this company is in Ch.11 reorganization. The reason was short squeeze. USU had 4.9mil O/S, 4.59mil float and shares short 1.12mil, inst ownership 30%.

Share structure looks familiar? Almost identical. It ran on $2.5mil funding and the company is in Ch. 11.

Do you really believe all shorts are that quick and smart? Sitting next to their computer or smart phone looking at their short position at all times to react in case of bullish news. Some of them are just as dumb as some longs and just as reckless as many probably shorted today.

    Doral's O/S is 6.5mil, float 4.53mil, institutional holding is 51%

shares short end of May was 1.37mil or 30% of float is short. Short squeeze is coming tomorrow to fill the gap at $9.5-$10

BTW, $229mil is almost 5 times the closing market cap of $47mil or $35 per share. Even with a reasonable 50% settlement means price would be $15-20 per share.

"The Department of Treasury's unilateral decision to nullify its binding agreement with Doral has already caused enormous harm to Doral, and the possibility that Doral could be forced to defend that agreement in the Department of Treasury's own administrative process risks even further harm"

Let me get this straight. Dept of Treasury unilaterally annulled a binding agreement without just cause or show of evidence in the court? No wonder the appeals court unanimously struck down lower court ruling.

Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico unanimously ruled that the Court of First Instance of Puerto Rico erred when it ruled that it lacked jurisdiction to hear Doral's case against the Hacienda. In its decision, the Court of Appeals stated that the Supreme Court has recognized the urgency of this matter on two occasions, and ordered the Court of First Instance to hold an evidentiary hearing in which the Treasury Department will have the burden to prove the alleged fraud, malfeasance or misrepresentation of material facts that would constitute a valid basis for the Treasury Department to set aside the Closing Agreement.

Treasury will have heavy burden to prove "fraud, malfeasance or misrepresentation of material facts" which Doral denies , otherwise, Doral wins $229mil

  • Amateur shorts that have not covered will feel more pain. No shares to borrow, that means more buying. Hey shorts, will you hold your shares short over the weekend? If you want to get creamed come Monday morning, just hold your shorts tight.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Opportunity for shorts to cover was yesterday. Cover at the open and go long. Next Monday it will gap up big after offering over giving the company huge cash horde to go after infringers. Watch for company to release news to boost confidence of preferred buyers.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Damn MM crooks were short before the halt. Caught off guard, now they are pushing it down hard trying to cover with very low vol. after hours. I have seen stocks sell off after approval, but before a decent pop? Share price here are so damn manipulated. LOL Watch for MMs to accumulate their share and then run it up.

Acute skin and skin structure bacterial infection. Also, cover MRSA. That's big. ER MRSA infection due to cuts, bites, and punctures are a big problem.

You had your chance around $26 when momo names were all deflating along with looming lock up expiration. With lock up done and market in firmer footing, your scenario will not play out, unless we have a triple digit NAS meltdown.
Starting tomorrow, it will run up til fill gap. Path to least resistance is up.
