Actually, in retrospect, that was not a bad call. About 90 minutes off, but not a bad call.
Im sure if the poor clown who got exercised on 35,000 shares had dumped out Friday on the close instead of waiting until this morning, we would have been there then.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

You are quite wrong about this. While I have responded in kind (with vulgarity and hubris) to the abrasive attacks to which I've been exposed to, I have NEVER insinuated that I don't lose in any single trade. In fact, Ive been wrong more often than right in my targets on EXAS. And to be 100% truthful, my firm has been seriously impacted by the dirty dealings perpetrated upon us by the Swiss central bank. This is going to have ramifications on all stock market participants as the shockwave reverberates throughout all financial classes. One example is right here, I had been using EXAS as a portion of a larger hedge. That is now all out the window and in the foreseeable future, we will not be trading this stock from the short side. We will either be all in or all out. As of today we are VERY long this stock and hold a bullish opinion but only time will tell. A lot depends upon the rate of uptake for the public. Really, it all depends upon their compliance. Like most of you, I wasn't all that "wowed" by the results last week. I had in truth hoped for more, but being 100% hedged thruough the writing of puts, this mediocre first quarter result was allowed that to be "OK" financially. I've taken a large amount of profit from this stock and hope to gain more in the future but be it known, my past practice of taking large net short positions is over. We have covered all shorts and liquidated the larger portion of our long position at this time, but as we are now net long only, I am still bullish on the stock long term ie, over the next 12 months with a 20% trailing stop.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • by the EXAS board's pumptards, I just want to chime in here to clarify things:

    A) Yes, we were short the Swiss Franc !! - and got stopped out.
    B) Yes we closed out of our EXAS long and went short on yesterdays close pocketing a nice close of position with new profits still on the table.
    C) Yes, our short US stocks is counted as a short dollar position as we also buy stocks with the Euro, Yen, Aussie Dollar and British Pound.
We did lose money on the Swiss Franc.
NO BIG DEAL - the loss was a hit of only 2.3%
You clowns can write home to your mothers about it if you wish. To me it's just all a part of the game. The reason? We've made around 20x the amount of todays loss gaming YOU gullible dolts.

I hope you're not too disappointed.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

Why do some folks have to learn everthing the hard way.
For the record, I have repurchased the shares I sold in the mid to low 29's in the HIGH 26 region.
    Watch and learn chump!

Ok, I didn't realize that we only have one "coma dude". In fact, I think you're probably a coma dude too!
So in the name of establishing a more amiable dialogue on this board (and I have been thinking of toning down my rhetoric lately as I may be primarily a long only swing trader in the near future ), I offer you my posthumous apology. No response required. Have a nice weekend.

    Intw0,
This is exactly the direction the other board participants are going with their belief that KC is going to go at JPM. Im betting against it. I don't think they're going to mention increased specificity or pancreatic cancer until the actual results of the ongoing rollout are in. In fact, I expect Q4 to be a dud ad the product was not available for the first half of it. If I turn out to be wrong, I'll be happy to buy in on the next pullback afterwards. It could be at 25.00 it could be at 35.00 but if the news is good, it wont matter, the stock is heading to 50. On the other hand, if the news is a flop, I'll be waiting to short the first rally afterwards. You guys can keep the big move. I'll be happy to make the 10% to 12% move 5x over in the meantime. That.s just the way I roll....

I neither have the desire nor time to search for posts to confirm a statement I did not make. Go back and read my post and restate your question, then do your own research ya lazy bum! (you're so lazy you can't even bother to change ID's to defend yourself! You've been defending MS all day long leaving the rest of us to believe that the "two of you" are either rump buddies or perhaps ONE IN THE SAME PERSON.???? ..MAAAAYEEEEBEEEE! LOL

Pure bunk. You've mischaracterized the original buy and go into a coma MS as a "trader"? lol Surely you jest?
Bwaa hahahahahhahahahhahahaa! You crack me up?
Steady as she goes children. I will let you know when to go long again.

You are correct madam! Mea Culpa, I made a typo. My sales were at 28.75-28.80 not the 29.75 that I initially reported.
Still,we're talking about a 10% grab on a long trade in less than a week after doing the same thing on a short trade the week prior. Thats 20% while you mstevens and your little old lady pals are sitting in in your tepid tub of luke warm water. In the meantime, I'll sit back and read the likes of you and Msteve pretend like Im not lifting money out of your purses every time you turn around to sneeze.
Steady as she goes. I will let you and the rest of the board know when it's time to go short, or long again.

Special shout out to YOU biaieootch! I routinely take your money and all it costs me is a few of your insults and whining every day. I realize that you consider your buy and hold strategy a winner and I can appreciate you "tools" that do. However, once again I have proven that I can trade circles around your long before you realize what's happened. BTW: The wall street manipulators don't have any intention to bring this thing higher than 30 without my lead. They take their cues from ME, capiche?

Now put your underwear back on your head and start crowing....bozo.

In case you clowns haven't figured it out yet....that was ME offloading a pile of manure that I paid 25.75 for at 29.75 earlier this morning . This was my first long swing trade of 2015. You don't have to congratulate me as I realize that would not be within the realm of your character. Not to worry! Your Umcle still loves you. I will let you know when I place my next trade. It could be long again....or it could be a short.
Remember, its never too late to cry Umcle!

    Toodles!!
