Yeah, butt they're still under manipulation; HSOL is up 5.22%, YGE 3.74% without shipping a thing to nobody.
All Chinese solars were pretty much going into OverSold after yesterday's selloff though.
Maybe you'll see Street dotcum or Fools talking about "Dead Cat bouncing"?
Nobody in USA would talk about recent WTO ruling on USA violating rules on Anti-dumping, Anti-Subsidies over Chinese products. WTO can't do nothing on USA posting tarriff (punishment) on China products, China has to work hard to get out of "Non-Market Economy" status ASAP.

Being able to close today near the daily High will be cool enough.
This market downturn was nothing butt the attacks from people who missed the rally.
Lots of professionals have missed recent rally and they're still "allowed" to fart on the internet trying to TALK the market down. What's the purpose of TALKing Dow 15k if they can't even take it down 200 points at a time (which is nothing on Percentage)?

  • unclespeaking unclespeaking Jul 8, 2014 11:44 AM Flag

    They've been TALKing about it.
All Uncle has seen so far are nothing butt TALKing, they better do something better than TALKing.
The reality is their danmm target of installing 14GW this year is falling far behind; what we've heard recently was nothing but 10GW which is less than last year's 12.9GW. With only 2GW of ground-mount installed the 1st 5 months, they still left 4 GW for the following 7 months for Ground mount, and almost 7GW+ on the RoofTop, and the clock is ticking...

e-mail them again for the status of their 400mw projects; maybe they can "consider" Yieldco too.
Talking Yieldco does not cost a thing, anyone can "consider" anything. Ha!
Every night Uncle checks the Chinese sites for news, butt nobody knows a thing what's going on there recently.
I mean Nothing about companies that floated shares in USA, many are still getting funds there. So much to their promises to consolidate domestically.

Poor Uncle Chang is seeing AAPL going all-time high soon, thanks to dirty Icahn.
Stalks are really for Big boys, butt Buffett doesn't do Chinese Solars, what a shame!

Saw you start communicating with Solar Gods again; well if you do more and harder enough at least one of them will listen to you. For me, I just turn the computer off for little while, preparing for parties tomorrow, well, I do what I was told to so, not that I have alternatives.

    See any positives, Uncle?

//And even the CS note with $19 was weird on a Friday when nobody probably noticed//
That was an "Initiated Coverage", not a real Upgrade/Downgrade, the $19 target was set on 6/12, it was revised down from Target of $20 to $19 representing "a sum of the parts of the replacement value of capacity of $1.4b and project development of $900m", and EPS was also lowered for 2014/15/16 from $1.52/$3.51/$4.21 to $1.41/$3.13/$3.75 due to the Higher Share Count (aka Dilution after Capital Raise).
CS is as "Neutral" with TSL as My doggie.
That said, and again, you think people should cry when their portfolios are down? Uncle was still happy with everyday all-time high till Uncle was asked yesterday, and today Uncle "lost" $78-79k" just on 4 Airliners, don't tell me I lose a dime on Chinese Solar. It's just numbers, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, if Uncle has to care so much Uncle may as well dump everything and it's never been too late.
Time for lunch, that's the most important thing to do to boring man. Ha!

//On the manipulation front, do you feel like TSL's price is/has been manipulated in recent times?//
It all depends how you define "Manipulation". Uncle has been saying that Uncle hates the Chinese Solar companies issuing Convertible notes, which allows the counter-party to short stocks for hedging purposes. TSL was only Chinese Solar company in the PAST that saw their stock price trading above conversion price at one time; I'm talking about their PAST issue of convertibles which mostly expired. TSL at one time trying to buyback their convertibles when their share price was above the exercise price but nobody took the offer, and this round several of them started another round of convertibles, they don't learn and they don't listen.
And it's even odd and surprising to me that none of TSL's 5 underwriters (Deutsche, Barclays, JPM, Goldman, HSBC) bothered to come to Upgrade TSL so far, I mean comapred to crooky CS that underwrote JKS. JKS just recently upgrades JKS's target to $45, which is also the striking price of the convertible. What I meant is You Need "Responsible Buddies" on the Street to do business with. Ha!
ps, Going back to "Don't Worry, Be Happy" (and Relax too), you tell me if worrying can solve a danmm problem then I'll make you worry as much as you want.

Uncle knows exactly how you feel; especially your struggle with the "Triangle" without looking at the Stochastics level of stalks.
TSL ain't JKS or CSIQ, the closest yo compare is with JASO, if you're thinking about charts or manipulation.
Uncle is playing with very boring stalks in and out while Uncle is waiting for stupid Chinese Solar CEO/CFOs to say something good. It's called "quilty of Silence" by Uncle. They're assumed to be quilty or no-good till they can prove something. It's been like that, like it or not.

New money, as well as old money, are Really pouring in from all directions into the equity market chasing all the major indexes. You'll see the "money" after they're done playing with theirs, when you "contribute" your money in the 501k, IRA funds, they become "their money" to play with, you didn't tell or couldn't direct them to "invest" on Solar Stocks.
Nope, you're not Missing a thing, which I don't know if it's good or bad for you. Maybe stalks you care about will skyrocket when you don't pay much attention to them at all? You've been too nervous for no good reasons, relax!

    JASO and SOL stock manipulation

Cramer tried to explain/justify the crash of DAL stock this morning by saying their traffic was not up enough, even Uncle knows all major airlines were hurt big by the ABC news on Next Generation Bomb treats from the Syrian terrorists.
Yes, the market can be manipulated by few Big analysts and media, and nobody has investigated into how much money the manipulators have made. It's like some said that you're only quilty when you are caught, butt in many cases they can pay little fine and admit nothing.

The decline could be tied in part to reports the U.S. Department of Homeland Security may issue urgent directives in the next two weeks to airlines operating overseas, requiring tightened passenger screening for. Report originated at ABC news. Restrictions relate to threats from terrorists in Syria and the develop of next-gen bombs. ..

Talking about manipulation, Cramer just pumped the Airliners last night and they all Crashed today. DAL even reported big Up on June traffic, go figure.
Uncle was "supposed" to be Up big yesterday and today with this market strength, instead I was only up little yesterday and down little today. Sick.

USA is 2:1 against Belgium, according to Yahoo Sports "Pick Distribution". Guess the Belgiums didn't take the survey?

1st of all, Make up your mind and stick to it.
Solar stocks is Uncle's #3 holdings, after Airliners and oil/oil services, they're not helping today at all.
Hopefully, people come back to the danmm suctor after they take some profits on Other stalks later, they're down but not out, with pretty low volumes.
ps, Even Uncle's #4 traveling stalks are outperforming these days.
