The mainland of Australia IS an Island, but the Continent of Australia includes the mainland of the country Australia and the island nations of New Guinea, Tasmania, and Seram.
Stoxx thinks Lake Michigan is not an Ocean?
London is in Ohio?
Uncle knows, Hawiian Garden is in Southern California, as well as Little Saigon, and Chinatown is almost everywhere.
Xi lost another day in Shanghai and we're taken hostage again today.
It's pretty hard to say if he's Right or Wrong in their standard as they seem to be able to get away from what they do most of the time. We did it during housing meltdown, we let all those irresponsible people to get out, some even made money on their sour mortgages. It's all about how much money Xi is willing to print and how he'll be able to get some back. They don't have Big banks like ours and most of their banks are not so private to be punished either. It's not going to cause civil unrest there, the most the could do is to go after the insiders that made money on their companies' stocks to give back some to the farmers?
//Shorts starting pounding yesterday afternoon and have continued today.//
They did just that after Uncle's Tuesday a lot, especially on Gordon's Wednesday.
Gordon now talks regularly on every Wednesday.
"while optimism of a pickup in 2H demand drove wafer restocking. Yet, fanned by expiring Chinese trade permits + weak ‘real’ demand, as we see it, poly prices edged lower. "
What is Weak "Real" demand? If demand is weak then it's weak, if it's not weak it's not Real? I see.
Uncle prefers what 2Heads said about Trina possibly installed 300mw in China in 2Q as "Weak" demand, which in Uncle's belief is so unreal as Trina only guided 65-70mw installation.
//well the reason is they can't legally trade news etc - //
Yeah, it's not good to speculate that companies are violating SEC rules without ANY evidence.
This is America!
//well the reason is they can't legally trade news etc - they have to institute a pre-set buyback plan and stick to it. //
Yes, this ain't lawless country, it is not good to speculate that companies are manipulating their own stocks.
All stock repurchases follow SEC rules strictly, AAL is the biggest Airlines in the World, Uncle is 100% sure that they know all the rules.
LUV is moving ahead, AAL doesn't follow?
JPMorgan analyst Jamie Baker upgraded Southwest (LUV) to Overweight saying shares look cheap at current levels. The stock's valuation has moved below that of JetBlue (JBLU), which is uncommon, Baker tells investors. The analyst raised Southwest's price target to $50 from $42.50.
I thought he upgraded AAL recently too?
VA beats Top and Bottom lines. Stock jumps.
VA has unusual moves recently, Uncle noticed that. Uncle does not track VA much.
ALGT makes new high again. They don't seem to care about capacity discipline Dead Fish demand, companies should be "allowed" to do their own business, instead of doing what the Dead Fish want them to do.
//Yeah, I always add about $.22 to the spot. //
(Spot+0.044)*1.1 or (Spot+0.044)*1.05
Parker really bets well with no hedging, can it be "dumb people, dumb luck?", Ha!
//That is pathetic at jut over 2GW in the second quarter. They did 5GW in Q1//
5G in 1Q probably was to finish up most of the leftover from last year, they increased this year's quota in March. The 2.69 GW was what they Installed in Q2, with many are still under construction. How the heck are you so Bullish to think that Trina INSTALLED 320MW in Q2? They ain't Install anywhere Close to 300MW in one quarter, they guided 150-170mw shipments to their downstream, and they probably DID ship more than 320MW of modules to China excluding the downstream.
Uncle thinks you're very confused between GW Installed and GWs shipped to China. God bless and stop your heads from fighting each other.
//How you feel about SPWR, Uncle?//
Can't tell and don't care, only knows they won't treat the Chinese Solar the way they treat Americans.
Chinese Solar are only good when they're most net long. Gordon has not covered any solar for weeks, don't know if he's reassigned to other tasks. Gordon only reports what he saw on EnergyTrend. It IS really hard for him to continue his "SUNE rules the World" claims.
God bless Auntie Yellen!
As long as the broad market is up, Uncle is happy.
Now it includes "readings on financial and international developments", that's real farting with substances.
It just doesn't matter, even they've installed 10GW; Uncle just doesn't understand why Yahoo Finance does not show this under any Chinese Solar board? Anything bad normally can be seen under any Chinese Solar "news" "headlines".
China DO have problems with the subsidy payments, companies are owed a lot of money from the government, and unless you have good financial backing some small companies got financial pressure.
Refiner input was about same around 16.8m bpd, imports little less at 7.5m bpd, oil supply down 146k bpd to 9.413m bpd, causing a 4.2m barrels inventory draw.
4.2m barrel is about 600k bpd compared to 16.8m bpd, it's nothing but a rounding error, nobody has mentioned that. Very silly Wall Street.
