    TAN is booting Hanergy

It's ok, Hanergy is more a scam, it's a Chinese Tulip. There're really too many bad Chinese Solar companies over there, even run by ex-LDK Peng, they love OPM, especially free money from the government. Lots of them make very low quality solar products, it's hard for the government to see who's real and who's not. That, really screw up a lot of process. You see it takes 6 months to get your electricity payment, and the Fit even takes forever. TSL is also entitled for the Fit, besides the electricity payment, but again you just can't list that as revenue or in your AR.
You know what Uncle really curious to see this quarter is WHO is the new King of Solar in China, I mean who has the lowest internal module cost. TSL's internal cost is already lower than JKS's "target" cost as we've seen.
TSL is the only Chinese solar stock that I have not sold a single share for a long while, CSIQ, even is the largest one in dollar amount, Uncle still sold it twice whenever it hit $40, one was long time ago, one just recently. JKS is not even anywhere close.

Uncle wishes everyone has a Nice Long Weekend and Speedy Recovery from current Shock.
This goes to Mongo/Mingo(?) and/or stox too. It's tiresome work to spend all day brain jerking, go get some Korean Jinseng!

    Don't worry, be happy.
According to the Airline God, all you need is to cut or maintain Capacity discipline then ALL is well.
Profit is Bad thing, Financial stuff should be put aside...
Don't just think about filling up your own planes without thinking about others having too many empty seats.
You're invested in a very weird sector, where one God rules all.
    Cheers! This is Long Weekend.

    VA insider bought

//Recent AAL insider selling at 50-55 was definitely the canary in the coal mine.//
Uncle has reported a couple of times when smart Kirby exercised all his "Rights" to put tens of millions in his pockets; why did he sell a whole bunch for $50.52 while Parker is in no hurry using up his $2bn (for buyback)?

//Why would they buy any shares on the open market when they'll just redistribute some of the shares they buy back to themselves risk free?//
Why do you think I've been asking for these days? Giving back sharebaggers with much higher dividend while they're watching the paints dry is one way of paying sharebaggers with stocks, they should increase the dividend by 100% and we will Reinvest the dividend on the company. The industry is full of Rotten Dead Fish analysts who insist all the time that companies should keep buying back own stocks for no good reason, my point is since they want to (and has to, on request of the Dead Fish Society) why not buying Right now instead of waiting to buy at higher prices? Hey, you think if you make $10 with 10 shares outstanding, next quarter you make same $10, with only 8 shares, it'll be ok to them? Dream on.

//the idea that max profits shouldn't be the goal of a business is a joke.//
You call it a Joke? Is it that funny?
    It is 100% fraud.
    It is 100% misleading (people).

//'m not so charitable to Keay, because I think he's largely responsible for CAUSING the panic.//
Can't come up with any other words than "Rotten Dead Fish", I can't.
Capacity, depending what kind of capacity they're talking about and in what sort of environment. We got record summer traveling season, it's fine to offer reasonable air fare to accommodate all the travelers. Personally, I don't like them to keep adding more seats to squeeze as many passengers on the plane, they want to make money, people want to enjoy their vacation. If the price is Right, if the flying the sky is so friendly, they'll get every seat taken. Maybe airlines that have bad satisfaction rate should get their capacities taken away?
If all these Airliners are complaining about making too much money, and their stocks are trading like utility stocks, they MUST Pay up with 3-5% dividends.
Uncle likes Delta's plan to increase the dividend, paying down debts, while buying back stocks as it become the norm for the industry. I mean, if they can make it.
ps, Capacities added during hot and busy season can always be taken off in cold winter time; capacities added due to added new planes can be more of a problem. Don't think anyone of them is so stupid not to know. There was No problem till Keay created one. It actually started when they called Delta Crazy. You just don't invite lots of guest to your house just to kick them around. The guy is Crazy himself, he ain't Airline God, I can tell you that!

  • unclespeaking unclespeaking May 21, 2015 7:59 PM Flag

//But profit is now bad........capacity is bad even if there will be more people flying and using the new capacity.//
Dead Fish have very bad memory for the Past, it's short of calling "The Airline business is Dead" from them.
If you can fly from hubs you were not allowed to, or you have new route added, they want you not to fly or cut capacity somewhere else to make up for the capacity you are adding? That ain't BS, what's that?
Things you don't try you will never find out, if new plan doesn't work, they must quit. Never heard about quitting before trying just because your competitors say you can't compete with them.
Uncle says "Just fill all the danmm seats"!

//The problem is that investors -- and Keay -- are "selectively listening" for what they want to hear.//
Now you're getting on the Right track. The Big investors (aka Institution OPM guys) listen mainly to what the Dead Fish tell them, the little guys simply got scared and sold shares in panic, it's been like that and it will be so. People who sold their shares during eBola are still pounding their heads hoping they can come in cheaper, they ain't get as cheap as they want, they belong to Buy High and Sell Low group.
Airlines are dirt cheap by any measure, and people will only figure that out in retrospect. There's still lots of time to fool around while people are still going through slow healing process; just do it before the Big guys return is fine.

Other than Bears hiding in San Diego Zoo, Toddy researching how to Drive from Oklahoma to Cushing. for months. Mongo and/or Stox kept brain jerking; there's no Uncle Buffett, Uncle Icahn or Uncle Ellison's presence here at all.

Today is about UBS, IBS, or NBS, and GS too.
The "recovery" can be slowly but surely, with everyone almost bunched to death, they ain't come back from the hospital bed and run the next day. Newer investors, speculators are born, with Big Hope, they have to learn how to walk 1st.

//There was $0 in project sales for Q1... not a penny of these earnings includes project sales. Amazing.//
    It IS amazing, indeed.
After I read your post yesterday, I calculated on No Project, 1/3 of $23m electricity bill, without knowing they would Beat the shipment, with $6m foreign exchange loss and $2.2m gain on change on derivatives, and I just went to bed with Smile. That's why I woke up so late.
The funny thing is why do people care if it goes over $13 or not today, there's tomorrow, next month, next quarter, and probably by X-mas time nobody would remember what the $13 is all about.
Uncle does not want $13 or $14, Uncle does not need to get rich overnight. The 3 part is fine, even 2 is ok, you must add another digit to the end. Uncle's CSIQ has the Right 3, though it can be 4. Uncle has a whole bunch of CSIQ, more of TSL. Call me crazy Uncle.

  • unclespeaking by unclespeaking May 21, 2015 2:42 PM Flag

    That's New AAL Song.
It's all their competitor's fault to increase Capacities, they all want the American Pie (in this case, American Airliner's Pie).
We know it's fair to say "We will Fight anybody who's coming to steal our Pie", instead of "We'll surrender", but can they let people feel better that they'll all get along and share the friendly Sky?
Uncle don't get it when everyone blames the little sister who tries to steal a small chunk of pie from big brothers, can't the big brother give up a little and go along with the little sister? It's good for everyone ELSE!
AAL is a merger of AMR and LLC, does the Gorilla need to keep all the banana? That's the Question, not the answer. We poor investors only care about our return on our investment, don't make it too hard for us.
Delta seems to be getting along with Alaska well in Seattle, that's also a question, not an answer, investors at least are living with the situation.

    Funny how capacity increases

//AAL is not increasing capacity while LUV is increasing capacity the most .//
That'll put lots of Pressure on BOTH stocks for little while, unfortunately.
People love to argue with the market, Uncle is no exception, but the market is always Rigged, nobody is listening, it ain't a Market God and there's nobody asnwering nobody's call either.
Today, people tried to quote whatever that UBS has to say, well, it's either UBS or IBS nor nothing but BS.
They don't make it easy for little guys nowadays, they want you to listen and act on what they say, and for that Uncle will continue calling them Rotten Dead Fish, because they Stink (at least to me, some tries hard to call Uncle Racist so it's also fair that Uncle call them terroists when they try to terrify people. All these have to do with Uncle's Poor understandings with English words. Uncle is very peaceful people).

//I'm just simply looking for "experts" to confirm what is already glaringly true.//
You don't need any "expert" to help, it's simply common sense, airliners are deep cheap, period.
What sort of competition can justify wiping $20bn of the Sector in 2 days? You think they'll sell tickets for $50 each? We don't see one-way $99 coast to coast tickets no more!
