Curious why the stock is up today. Volume isn't great, but it's a convincing rally. Maybe some newsletter is pumping it? Maybe someone senses value in this stock? Maybe they emailed Cramer and told him the business in China is doing well???
Yes, the possibility certainly exists that this can be a multi-bagger. It is also possible that the trials fizzle and the stock becomes worthless, just like most other biotechs in this business.
Has anyone studied the science and tried to figure out what the odds of success are for this company? Going by the stock price action the last couple of years, it seems they were riding high on great hopes - and then there was a reversal. Right now it seems the only thing holding the stock price up is the cash they hold. But maybe investors are ignoring the real story...the real science... anyone care to explain this? Or perhaps it's already been discussed - maybe a pointer to an old post will help. TIA.
Look I'm not saying it's a slam dunk. But really the only thing that's changed since the fools were pumping this is that oil prices are way down and the company has stumbled. But they are doing the right things, and, if oil prices help, that can make all the differnce. Long term, they can do very well but if oil prices crash and stay down for 2 more years, cash flow will be an issue for this company. So really it depends a lot on the oil prices.
China and India have been serious about gas for some years now. And they have built up infrastructure for it - unlike the US. Once we get past all this noise (perhaps in a quarter or two), expect the stock to start going up again quite quickly.
And they are doing well, and have enough funds to last a few quarters. Ingore the naysayers.
