    Gotta hand it to Matusow...

ANYONE who listened to the last cc should not be surprised by today or what is to come. In my opinion, CEO Hart told all of us POINT BLANK and very directly that both the company and its execs would be buying shares. Remember, he said "the handcuffs come off." Cheers.

  • website and LISTEN to a replay of this afternoon's conf call, the entire 1 hour and 2 minutes. If you don't come away KNOWING that the stock is going to trend higher and higher over the next couple years then you should immediately make an appointment for a frontal lobe lobotomy.

Q4 is going to be between $18 and $28million in revenue and this compares to a little under $5million last year.

FY15 starts January 1st and revenue WILL be AT LEAST 20% above the current FY.

They have a new and focused sales group.

They stated point blank that INVE is way too low verses peers. They stated point blank the company has bought back a few shares and the gloves come off in a couple days for the big guys and their wallets.

They are cranking up the IR efforts.

They are now in a position to negotiate PR clauses with new clients and jobs.

    .....and on and on.

INVE is an absolute steal at the current level. Feeling good.

    Comparing VDSi to INVE

    by wallstpirate Nov 25, 2014 9:04 AM
uptabdowntab uptabdowntab Nov 26, 2014 7:59 AM Flag

Good comparison. Revenues not all that different. Vasco is more profitable, however, if you look at a several year trend, it isn't clear which way Vasco profits are headed. The big difference is the valuation. PS for VDSI is over 6. PS for INVE is 1.4. This would certainly suggest that as INVE becomes cash flow positive, ebitda positive, and GAAP EPS profitable, their valuation will rise several multiples. Pretty easy to make a case for $40/share in about a year. Impossible to make a case for $8/share. Bodes well and Thanks for sharing.

You guys should all be happy I haven't bought any yet. Came close to pulling the trigger sub-1.10 but didn't have the guts. Maybe I should just buy some, that would send it to 90 cents, then I could add the rest. Never easy.

Give it up you blithering fool. Go back and read your last 20 posts then check yourself into an asylum.

Try to look at INVE objectively. Click on the Key Stats, examine the income statement, the balance sheet, the cash flow. Then LISTEN to the last 62minute conference call. It is CRYSTAL clear, INVE stock is heading higher because the company is performing well and the stock is undervalued on its own merits and relative to peers.

I hope that even as you continue to whine, you at least own some shares so you can benefit. Good luck.

  • cash per share! Stock is far cheaper today at $8.60 than it was months ago at $6. Lots of capital, net cash, rising revenue competent leadership, cash flow positive, etc. Only ugly thing is the stock chart, which is why I absolutely love this stock right now.

All the hate expressed toward one individual on this board is also stupid. Grow up people, no one clicks buy or sell for you. Ya'll must be liberals since you don't take responsibility for your actions. Cheers.

Jay, This was addressed in detail by DR two or three conf calls ago. They intentionally walked away from most of their brick/mortar US presence such as Best Buy because it wasn't profitable for MadCatz. Yes, they could sell a ton more stuff but what's the point if zero (or less) profit. The last several quarters have more than validated that decision.

I would also guess that Q3 came in at well over $45 mil....maybe pushing $60mil. But like I said in an earlier post, none of it matters. $30mil would have the same impact on the stock as $60mil. HTCH, it's going wwwwaaaayyyyyy higher.

  • note the new promo video that appears. It is awesome, up to date, timely. These guys are on top of things and hitting on all cylinders.

I used to have several fears with this company. My first was that anyone could duplicate what they are doing by messing around in their garage with a few computers and screens. I have come to realize there is a huge barrier to entry in this industry. Barriers include all the time, money, and expertise involved in filming/producing/editing the scenarios. Live actors and all. They also have a rather big software component to their systems and some unique hardware stuff as well. Another barrier is getting established with your potential customer base. Many of their customers are spending public dollars so the scrutiny is deep. Municipalities will say YES to something used by other peer organizations, but are unlikely to try a new company.

Another fear was that they would not be able to profitably scale the business. That has proven false. It is difficult to decrease the cost of these systems significantly even as you sell more. However, the future upgrades and maintenance are all pure profit. And in this day and age, everyone will want the latest scenarios.

We are all going to be extremely happy shareholders before year-end.

In the new video, I like that they included taser training! Hhhhmmmmmm.

Hey there jimjohn, Read your own message and think for a minute. "Solar has already reached grid parity".....and....."There are 2 jobs in renewable for every 1 job in coal"...... You are one looney tune man. Solar dies tomorrow without any subsidies, that is a simple fact. Read obummers EPA reports, even they state it point blank. 2 to 1 in jobs for an energy source that generates .017% of what coal does? I want some of what you smoke. Cheers.

  • Fire your IR firm. In my opinion, those guys are incompetent. They are not capable of having a reasonable conversation with a shareholder. They have managed to scrap up ONE whole analyst who covers the company. Save your money and simply assign the IR task to an in-house attorney or the CFO or the head of HR or someone like that. Many small companies do it that way and save a ton of money and have far better rapport with the investing community and owners. These guys have done nothing for you.

  • opinion than me with respect to MCZ has nothing to do with my dislike for you. The only reason I can make money in the stock market is because others have different opinions than me. God love you for that.

What makes folks like you annoying is that you are not transparent. Longs and those bullish on MCZ are very transparent, they state their rationale, they state they own MCZ shares, they sometimes even post when they buy and sell. They only post using one moniker and are not paid by anyone to do so. People like me post for our own selfish interests and in the hopes we learn something from others and maybe find some new stocks to buy.

People like you post using multiple #$%$, are sometimes working for others, seldom have their own money in the game, and tend to prey on people's fears. With MCZ, you could be so much more effective by stating facts from MadCatz past to bolster your case, there is plenty of ammo. For example, meifud is really good at it and there is always some basis for fact in what she posts and mei is likeable as a result. You, on the other hand are not.....because of the content of your posts.

The other thing I find fascinating is that some here think they are anonymous. How stupid. Someone knows every keystroke you make, every phone call you make or answer, every swipe of your credit card, the brand of toilet paper you buy, the speed at which you drive your car, the content of every email, etc. ANYONE can find out exactly who you are, your address, your social security number, etc. simply by spending a few pennies. It's a simple thing.

    But whatever. Cheers.

I'm thinking you misunderstood something somewhere...or maybe I did....but I don't think they said anything about full year 2014 being positive ebitda. I mean, it simply is not possible for them to generate 4.5mil ebitda in one Q at this point. And for FY2015 they said their entire focus will be the top line, not ebitda, not bottom line.

Why amazing? I traded them a couple times in the 1.20 range and got lucky enough to make a few dollars and have looked at their ticker every day for a year+. I saw it up big this am and read the report but was thoroughly unimpressed (revenue down, basically breakeven ops).

Was something said in the cc?
What impressed you in that report?

    Sincerely curious.

  • uptabdowntab uptabdowntab Nov 12, 2014 12:58 PM Flag

My frustration with them is that the couple times I've talked to them, they are very defensive and seem to have large chips on their shoulders. Weird if you ask me. Then I think, What have they done for the company? Certainly haven't helped create shareholder value, certainly haven't gotten any decent analyst coverage, super clever timely informative PRs? I don't think so. Sure, Mad Catz has gone to a few conferences but any company that makes a phone call, asks, and agrees to pay the fee can do that.

  • uptabdowntab by uptabdowntab Nov 26, 2014 10:56 AM Flag

The number of shorted shares as of Nov 14 remained flat and at historical low levels! Bodes well.

This pretty much confirms the big dip in late Oct/early Nov was simply someone selling their shares. I'd sure rather see someone giving up than someone shorting big and betting against us.

Sounds great. I am in a dish-free, cable-free house with only an antenna to get the local stuff. I will watch when it is posted on the VirTra or Facebook site. All it takes is three or four people watching that decide to dig a bit deeper and all the sudden you have a demand for a few million shares. Or maybe it catches the eye of a fund manager or another company CEO (like Taser) and they start to get a twinkle in their eye and the snowball starts rolling. And then there are all the local law enforcement types and village boards and city councils who say....hhhmmmmmm, maybe we should get one of those systems? Then you have the ambulance chasing lawyers who start to tout this sort of stuff in cases and complaints and saying cities and police departments MUST have them to avoid huge judgements. And on and on. Tidal Wave!

Well done gents! I'm sorry to say I never bought. I am happy for all of you though. It is always good to see money being made. Pretty cool how these sorts of stocks can go up 2X, 5X, or more in a heartbeat. Bodes well for some of our other common holdings.

You're buying "a few million shares"? Don't forget to file the required SEC form when you go over 5% ownership. 5% of outstanding shares is 718,000. So if you and Frank are each buying 1.5 million shares then you will each be 10.4% owners. Cheers.
