I'll probably just sit tight with mine. I appreciate the offer though. As an aside, looks like a serious alternative slate of directors is going to be up for shareholder vote for little ole MCZ.....at least that's what the birdies chirping outside my window are saying.

b_fr_nk, I sure hope your moves work out for you and you score big. But I gotta say that KTCC scares me to death. I do not own many shares but I am still thinking of bailing out ahead of earnings and moving the money to something else that has been beaten down the last few days. PNNT announces earnings after the close today, so that is tempting for a short term play. BAC has been pummeled and will bounce again. RFP is due for a +15% bounce as well. There are suddenly lots of good things to buy and I put NAII in that category. I have added and will hold through earnings and likely beyond. NTWK and UVE are also on the radar for me.

I understand and more or less agree with the point you are making. I have followed UVE and 18 other insurance companies for well over a decade. I have been "in" UVE in a significant way 2 other times and did well. So far I have just dipped a toe or two in and will be adding more over the next weeks and months. Good luck to you and all of us.

  • First think about the relentless and profitable growth. Then look at what that level of growth and profitability would cost you in a typical stock.

Then stop and think, scratch your head, and look at UVE with a EV/EBITDA of 2, a PE of 5, a dividend yield of 3%.

Anyone trying to bash the company and/or the stock given its current valuation is insane. UVE needs to go up 4X (to $75/share) just to reach some semblance of fair value. Short are in a world of hurt. It would be sort of funny to see the company declare a one time special dividend of $20/share just to kill them (laugh, but they could) or simply continue to aggressively buy back and retire shares or simply just keep running the company as they are. Fun to be long.

When I first read his lengthy article I came across two specific sentences that crossed a line (into the world of defamation). If Borg wanted to, he could take action against the author and probably put him out of business. I am disappointed that Seeking Alpha would allow that sort of drivel.

It would look bad if they gave the reason since the truth is...."We have downgraded PNNT in an effort to drop the stock price a bit in an effort to accumulate shares for our best clients. We will upgrade at a later date when we have full positions and then upgrade further when we intend to sell."

    just my opinion

Hi fab, Thanks for the PCMI mention. I always like to see what others are buying (and sometimes then pile into it myself). When you first mentioned PCMI a day or three ago I took a look but I didn't much like it. The 39cents you mention is not Net Income (bottom line EPS) but is some sort of non GAAP "adjusted EPS." Their bottom line is barely break-even and their gross margin is extremely low. In comparison, KTCC is a more robust company with much higher margins.

All that said....and even though I own a few shares of KTCC, I really do not generally like the contract manufacturing companies because margins are very slim and they always get beat to a pulp in negotiations by other contract manufacturers and by their own customers.

I probably keep dabbling a bit in the space because years ago I made some money trading a WIS based company called Plexus. Haven't looked back at them in years but maybe I will right now.

This message board has turned into a wasteland and Summer has arrived so will stay away from this board and most others. I own more shares than ever (several percent of the company) of MCZ and am happy to own them. Some random thoughts.....

    - Many times one looks back and wonders why I didn't buy more shares when the stock was so low. Or wonders why didn't I see what was to come. That is where MCZ is right now. The future has been laid out quite clearly by the CEO. If you believe her, then MCZ goes up 10X from here with ease over the next couple years. If you don't believe her, then the company gets taken out for 2X current price. Absolute worse case you lose 24 cents.

    - Two different posters here just might have their lives turned upside down in multiple ways starting in early Fall. I am about $4700 into it so far and have made progress.

    - The upcoming late May Q4 report will be more interesting than normal.

    Cheers.

We have a thinly traded microcap company. A stock market down 1% today. A big shareholder selling over a days volume of shares. Two SA hit pieces by the same author who admits to be short the stock.

AND the stock only goes down a bit!

Same author and the quality of the article is the same. All irrelevant garbage. It is all rumor and innuendo from a decade plus ago. That said, if I were Borg I would sue the author since he is saying some pretty nasty stuff.

To summarize the meat of his argument...."they just can't keep doing this well."

He is selling all 102k on the new 144 today at least if that is what the April 29 date means. What a db. Well, the fact he can legally sell now proves he is not an insider. There are always a few people willing to sell $1 for 50cents and Borg is one of them.

You sure hit the nail on the head. What strikes me is how these guys were able to conserve cash when it is in their own best interest. Luckily this is the one time when their interests also happen to align with shareholders.

Also, how can they really go from pumping/promoting OIS quarter after quarter to saying absolutely nothing about it. That too is sad (as in pathetic).

If the deal happens, $4 appears to be a lock. No matter what happens, I'm sorta happy to be out.

What a stupid article. Clear attempt at manipulation by the author. I just reread the NAII PR and they are crystal clear and state point blank it is a reissue and further down they state very clearly exactly why it was reissued when they talk about the specifics of one of the claims. If this all that the tiny number of shorts can come up with then they (the shorts) are in real trouble.

That article illustrates the problem with Seeking Alpha. ANYONE can pen and submit an article. Of course that is also its charm.

The April 15 short interest number should be available within the next day or two. I didn't check yet today, but will head to Nasdaq and take a look now.

  • an analyst want to downgrade a "$5" stock that is clearly at multi-year lows that is also trading below book value and is seemingly in the midst of taking actions to ensure a brighter future? Simply so they can steal a few shares for some of their better clients. Works on the other end too so when the stock is at all time highs and analysts are still upgrading....that's when us little people need to bail out.

  • for both the company and the stock are already at rock bottom. I find comfort in that.
