that's exactly what is missing in our society at large. A sense of perspective.
common good for all
wisdom (thru experience)
first off the ship- Carlos /President
todays Jump- Ken /COO
Ken's recent option grant is under water.
so let's just cash out remaining shares= $16M (if stock remains above $40)
congrats to Ken
RH operations were nothing to sing about
but given the band aids and chewing gum approach
it was good to have someone with the Tribal knowledge of Ken to keep it together
so now we have big new warehouses to integrate.
bulging inventories that need additional storage.
"systems" that are the best of last century
who will come to this ship to do all this?
as the stock drops.
when will Karen / CFO see the same light?
come on now,
just cuz he said something does not mean its true!
that's the fun around here.
someday the minions will believe to (dis)believe
"large international expansion"
"Profitable before AMZN"
"forgot to connect the accounting wires"
"big news coming"
so many more
this time no end date
limited time only
sale has "extended" to stock price as well.
inventory is out of control.
so many new items
so little store space
need more "outlet" stores for true retail transformation
i like the first comment to the article, especially the last sentence:
The thing that concerns investors isnt the tech, that could be great, but there are many other tech companies investing much more to build this type of platform. It is kinda perplexing that a third tier online retailer thinks it would do a better job than Nasdaq, Visa or the NYSE in this space. Those companies are all investing massively in this tech, so OSTK hiring a few engineers doesnt make them an innovator.
plus the guy you interviewed is bizarre and probably unemployable by any legitimate company.
regarding R3 "country club" perhaps he will spew sour grapes with this quote
I don’t care to belong to any club that will have me as a member
second extension of the 25%-75% off sale.
now "over" 1-11-16.
lots of excuses
maybe they need to open more "outlet" experiences.
the downside of too much "breadth" in assortment.
should be in low 60's soon.
before or after next "earnings"?
watch the debt grow
will we now be treated to wayfair slides in slide show?
with commentary about how O is better and the mgt of O could improve wayfair's results?
hype about sales over thanksgiving
hype about sales thru xmas
hype over customer service "score"
where is the hype
we gonna take on wall street, develop new technology which takes 50% of their profits off the table.
that should do it.
or O can do
"break" new brands on a discount site
so much to do.
anyone have the sales reports?
