I think you have problem understanding dividend paying stocks. If overall interest rates are rising, it has a negative effect on individual dividend stocks.
I'm buying for the dividend today (2 days before Xdate) It's down $0.14 and naer it's 52 week low. Add to that they just increased share repurchase!
"Gail Roboz, M.D., Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Leukemia Program at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York added, "The magnitude of the CR+CRi rate increase is promising and we may be one step closer to having a superior treatment option for patients with this devastating disease. The improvement in response rate portends well for a clinically meaningful survival benefit."
Thank you. I mis-read one of the sale number.
I appreciate your time in answering
Thank you... I noticed I offended some folks with my question even though I'm long the stock
Thank you for your informative answer.
You are one of the reasons I hesitate to post.
bob, sorry about my bad number. You are correct Young sold 50,000 (NOT 500,000...My Bad)
Thanks for your info
I realize they are taking some profits which is prudent but one wonders at the size of sale. Such as James Young selling 500,000 and Rajiv I. Modi , director of Novavax Inc sold 433,053 shares on Jun 16, 2015.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
