But we've all seen this before. Problably gets a little worse before it gets better. Buying op for sure when we look back a few months from now. Jonz overstaying his welcome again which is a great buying indicator. Keep your heads up. Best not to watch the tick by tick.
Alpert is a mouthpiece for the short sellers. I'm not surprised this article was released right as OPK is bottoming and trying to form a base. Anyway, I'm familiar with Alpert because I am a long time QCOR/MNK holder. Alpert has written hit pieces on these companies in the past. I wouldn't worry too much about it. There may be a buying op come Monday, but I think they will have a really hard time getting OPK below $15.
Agree. I would love to buy LCI but for some reason Interactive Brokers is charging 30% margin to borrow even 1 share. I don't understand why they are pricing this much risk into LCI.
I'd rather have a 3 or 4 bragger in a few years than $200/share. Don't get me wrong, $200 is not chump change but MNK has much more potential as a stand alone in my opinion. Especially if a dividend is initiated. I plan on holding this stock for 20 years if I can.
Jonz, those lead paint chips you munched on everyday of your childhood are not helping you now. Have you ever considered joining one of those class action lawsuits? At the very minimum I hope you're collecting disability for your retardation issues. Sheesh.
Who knows, but I've never gone wrong with just buying and holding MNK. I try my Best not to react to the noise. I just try and stay the course. Think ahead in years with this company, not weeks and months. Sometimes easier said than done, I know.
Boy the way Glen Miller played
Songs that made the hit parade.
Guys like us we had it made,
Those were the days.
And you knew who you were then,
Girls were girls and men were men,
Mister we could use a man
Like Herbert Hoover again.
Didn't need no welfare state,
Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee our old LaSalle ran great.
Those were the days.
What a great company. They knocked it out of the park, AND guided higher. We are seeing a muted response to stellar earnings. Do not be dismayed if this small bounce.is faded. Be prepared to buy the dip.
I keep thinking of more possibilities for tomorrow. The other scenario is that we do indeed knock it out of the park. IF we do, there will be a nice initial gap up. Who knows, 10% maybe?? IF this happens, I suggest waiting for the FADE. It will come. My advice is do not buy the pop, but buy the fade. There is a well documented history of this as well. Just check the daily charts on a 1 or 2 year time range.
OK, I'll shut up now! Just excited for tomorrow. LOL!
Many solid companies have been getting KILLED by reporting soft guidance, light on revenue, etc... If we don't knock it out of the park, the shorts will try to maul us. This is another reason to be cautious and have buy orders layered in and ready to go at lower levels. We are in a very tough market, albeit one that is going HIGHER not lower.
