Taro filed proxy with sec on Nov 24th
"Proxy card for the 2015 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company to be held on December 24, 2015"
I believe we need to get it in the next 2 weeks?
That is why SP on presser every day in the morning going down almost 2% then recovers as demand increases? Strange. Any normal company would jump on such speculations....but not Taro. Sun wouldn't sell Taro unless they get over 100% premium (and still not sure) and nobody would give over 100% premium.....Sad $250 stock trades for about $140 ......
You won't get any reply here and you know it - no one sane investor wouldn't vote for directors who voted to sell cheap minority unless he indirectly affiliated with Sun.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals said in its business update that disruption in its dermatology business, from the recent controversies surrounding its Philidor specialty pharmacy subsidiary , would be significant in the short term.
Can it affect Taro in positive way this quarter?
Sorry.my bad. Funny that S&P500 still have a chance to achieve the 2,200 (it is 6% short) but SPPI I'd glad it would come to $8
Sherry you said : "I predict you will see $10.00+ by Dec 31 ". You haven't mentioned the year. If it 2050 it is not a good investment :)
Go back to September and read all those posts regarding to a huge event in October and how much it will move SP. And it had a huge impact on SP but only negatively.
I believe this line in Major Holders:
% of Shares Held by All Insider and 5% Owners: 69%
represents Sun. That the % of Taro Sun holds
true, 125M is enough to burn for 6 quarters. They need new revenues ASAP or new investment(dilution) or adjust spending.
Have you tried to read Sun CC transcripts and reports? The same people run both companies . Why is that diametrically different? They borrowing money in billions to buy other companies partly using Taro's cash as a collateral leverage. Never tried to downplay any prospects of the company. Have you seen the future prospect of Taro revenue and profit they prepare when tried to buy taro for $49.5? Do not remember the actual numbers but it was ~40% less in revenue and ~70% less in profits projected for the next year then reality. Do you think they had no a clue? I doubt it. The whole goal of this people is to buy a company cheap while trying not to destroy it.
Taro management (actually Sun's management) as example how to run company PR system to manage the most undervaluation stock in the market and in the same time to balance not to lose a healthy cash flow and big profit. Everything to a one goal to convince a minority to sell. Could be it criminal? Only Taro stock always rises when the company get suited by shareholders.
