You know I am sure that the guy played financial games but in the end, dry and wet shipping has hit one of the worst periods in many, many decades, with continued irrational building of additional new tonnage in a slow growing world economy. One day there will be enough destruction of old tonnage, or the lack of building of new tonnage or both, relative to world growth. When this might happen, who knows, and does this shipowner have enough money to survive? who knows, as well. Probably best to buy the strongest financial shipowners and park your money, not mcsh of it, in them for 5 years. One day money will be made again.
