UPS pulls funding for Boy Scouts. Any company that does not support the great mission we scouts have taken upon our selves does not deserve our support. Last week I migrated my business off UPS, I urge scouts across world to do the same.

    So where to start.

    1) cant belive some one gave your post a rec !
    2) Lies? about what?

Kerry went to war, Bush went to a Bar in Alabama. Kerry was on the boat, Bush was awol.

Kerry listens to the people and votes for what they believe. As his constituatnts change so does his vote.... that is good.

Bush believes he is right and everone else is wrong, you are eiher with him or againts him.... That is bad.

Bush has over spent, and reduced taxes. He is sending money over sea's to pay for a war he Fuxed up. In the past wars we have fought our allies payed the bill, while we blew stuff up.
The money needed to fix our economy is being spent on bullets and funural services.

Kerry will seek out our allies and rebuild the bridges. He will be able to say our past president was an idiot, I am here to fix things. Send us some support and we will make it worth your while.

It's really not hard to pursuade people to not use DTV.

Start with the high cost, add in the extras that cost more, then show how the sytem is unavailble in the rain, then to top it off have them call the support line and wait on hold for 20 min.

Then call the cable company and asked about Phone, HBO, Broad Band, and security monotering bundled into one monthly bill and WOW what a diffrence. It will save us lots of money to switch to cable. Pluse we get to stick it to DTV and ma Bell.

I too received a letter from a purchase I made.
I was called a thief by this crappy company. I called a lawyer, he sent a letter asking on what date I stole signal.

2 years and still waiting for their reply.
I cancelled my subsciption and I am now an advocate aginst DTV. To date I have personally talked 43 people into switching to dish or cable.

it is kind of funny. There are 1575 posts.

The DirectTV defence board gets that many posts in a week if not less.

To the 15 people that read this board. Send a message to DTV. Sell your stock buy cable and cancell your description.

The product is bad, I mean think about it, you pay $63 a month and have less than 10 staions that are any good.

Call your cable company and get a bundled BB, Phone, and tv for $83. You can still watch your 10 stations, get high speed internet to trade good stock, and talk to you mom on the phone. Plus the cable companies dont sue to increase profits.

Christian's headed to war over Sat TV>

there are over 20,000 people involved in DTV's extortion campain. That includes lawyers, Judges, Potential Jury members, mayors, city officals. Now the DMCA as a whole is under review. 2 class actions suites filed, one still under review. I am afraid DTV drasticly underestimated the resolve of the American People. We fight for what is right, when a company attempts to extort from Americans, we fight back.

  • I forgot to mention the flyer in my mail box!

Thanks to Jannet Jacksons "pop out" the right wingers are pushing legislation that would go after sat tv.

    Well let's think about that.
Sue 18,000 of your customers who pay close to $80.00 USD a month.

These people are labeled hackers due to their advance knoledge of technology.

So no you have 18k pissed off smart techies who have familes, and are networked on the internet and in local communities.

In Dallas, there is a weekly meeting at a local starbucks where people who are labled hackers by DTV gather and discuss the demise of DTV.

Their latest idea is a calven pissing on DTV, T-shirts that say Hack Dave, and my personal favorite is a red warning sticker to be placed on the boxes at Best Buy and Circut City.

Label reads, "Buy purchasing this equipment and owning a PC, or a smart card unit, you could be sued by Direct TV and End Users Development Group"

Granted the lable is bigger than it needs to be but it is funny as hell to see people look at the label and ask questions. Then to cap it off walk by and hand them a DISH network flyer.

I noticed some of the boxes were still there the next week, I asked the stock boy. He said the Store Manager is being sued by the EUG, and the stickers were fine with him !

    Is this old or new?

I know DTV is getting their butts kicked in Federal Court and thus have abandoned all their cases there. I have seen allot of news about civil courts, some losses in December in Texas.

Is this a reprint or is this recent?

    PS this stock defines flat.

that is true, pirates should settle. However in my opinion if DTV sues one person that is innocent then the system broke. DTV should pay that person for the stress they caused.

Bottom line. If you have proof someone caused you damage then sue them. If you THINK they caused you damage then do the research and find out if they DID cause you damage.

DTV is suing kids, old ladies, their own stock holders, long time customers, soldiers whom are over seas, dead people, teachers, and who knows who else.

All I know is DTV is lazy and is trying to extort money from innocent people. They have hijacked the American Civil court system and they should be held responsible for my tax dollars being spent on this travesty.

PS- nice gain, it is a good time for profit taking.

I heard on NPR radio that the Republican Senate is on record as one of the worst fiscally responsible congress. We are now headed to 12 years of deficit spending.

Maybe they should sue everyone that has a reader/writer.

Oh wait DTV has already tryed that.

    I agree,
my pay check was much higher during the Clinton days. Since then the company has rolled back salaries by 2% and cut out bonuses all together, not to mention the health plan we get to pay for sucks.

All that and we have to worry about Big Business like DTV extorting money from us...
