The low volume walk down continues...

    by krill66 Jul 17, 2014 2:05 PM
vcaritas vcaritas Jul 17, 2014 7:17 PM Flag

RSI very low. May behave like an overstretched rubber band and snap back to upside.

I started to re-accumulate, but an still re-examining the science. Have thousands of pages of computer notes on various types of non-embryonic stem cell research and continue to expand. I don't invest in embryonic.

ASTM is also a part of the Russell microcap, so that may influence technicals to some extent...as may broader market machinations.

USA is the Saudi Arabia of coal. O and his comrades/cronies are suffocating anyone BUT the political elite and the corporate cronies. They loathe liberty, profit andything positive with regard to businesses and PEOPLE (including minorities and the poor) who do not support them OR DO NOT SUPPORT THEM SUFFICIENTLY WITH THEIR MONEY AND GIT-OUT-THE-VOTE-BY-ANY-MEANS-SCHEMES.

We have less pollution in the USA than we had in decades and the decrease began long before the EPA existed. 'Clean coal' is just part of the overall plan to attack the American worker, the American employer...IF they are not 'cronies' OR if 'better and richer' cronies want it (eg, Sierra Club, which the former president said has not become radicalized and anti-science, anti-common sense).

    Note safety?????????

Safety is the sine qua non. Then I linked to CTRM products and the beginning of the published research papers, presentations and to the patents.

Tho there is emphasis on autologous treatments, I did find a mention of fetal liver cells which I did not like among the hundreds of pages I accessed for my comparisons. If they are part of the 'mix' I will sell all.

    Just my opinion.

We're arriving at the point of the overstretched rubber band...where an upmove may occur. NOT a prediction.

Evaluating probabilities for my own purposes.

Meanwhile, I'm pleased with the Prana Alzheimer's disease Development Plan Update at their website (presented at AAIC...Alzheimer's Conference, Copenhagen).

Congrats again, SirAlex and SirEdmund, SirSon, SirLpet, et alia !!!

SLV getting closer to a bulllish 50ma/200ma crossover. GLD has crossed and both moving averages need to move into uptrend, along with pps.

Climbing a wall of worry technically and also a wall in International Worries.

Tho I don't want to see the international problems continue, much less become exacerbated, the probabilities are extremely high that things will get worse and worse over time, due to foolish actions and inactions of the O adminstration/cronies. Sadly.

News media is obsessing today about the Ukraine plane being shot down, but only a few outlets are getting to the bottom of the problem. RARE TRUTHFUL and objective reporting, with proper perspective. The scene was set for Russia/Ukraine/eastern Europe conflict when O removed protection from eastern Europe long ago...and those who could have been heard...were smothered by media dolts.

My initial buys of PRAN were in 2's before it fell to 1's...YEAR AGO. I have been a bull since that time and continue to be bullish based on the SCIENCE.

Posted repeatedly the trial was NOT A FAILURE...that something was really strange when the PLACEBO ARM had unprecented improvement.

I was correct about the importance of 'brain volume' and about:

In Professor Masters’ presentation, he noted that the starting amyloid burden level (baseline) in the PBT2 treated participant group had an important bearing on the decrease of amyloid over time in that participant (p=0.035), whereas there was no such correlation in the placebo group.

Prof Masters further investigated the response of participants with baseline amyloid burden levels above and below the mean for the IMAGINE cohort (SUVR of 2.5). He showed that in the subgroup of PBT2 treated participants with a baseline of SUVR above 2.5, there was a significant decrease in amyloid burden that was not observed in participants on placebo nor PBT2 participants with a SUVR less than 2.5. In summary, whilst the utility of PiB in small trials may be questioned, it was interesting to note the impact of baseline SUVR amyloid burden level on the response of a cohort, for future trial design.

Separately, Prana has confirmed the top line finding that there is a very promising trend towards the preservation of brain volume (as measured by MRI) in PBT2 treated patients compared to placebo patients.

(See link from Pranbio website to today's presentation in Copenhagen at the AAIC (Alzheimer's Conference).

    Just my opinion, as always~

Yes, I'm watching the technicals as well, but the long term is likely MAGNIFICENT, so I do not see any reason to do anything but add as low as possible and have patience.

The possibility of MORE good news of some partnering in the works, or attempts at buyout are high, in my opinion, based purely on the increasing confirmation of the science.

With geopolitical concerns, even PRAN might pull back more (tho it would be insane). Have you noticed biotech shorts are delusional in many cases? My opinion is they hold prices down for their hedge friend...uhm, 'associates' or for big pharma....so big pharma can buy lower. Still expecting multibagger over time, and some sort of partnering to help with expenses near term. jmo,

Wild_gold posted NEGATIVELY on this message board about ABX just as it was touching lows, while others were commenting on it.

Endless negative posts attacking a half dozen posters on this message board who are long term bulls on gold and silver, including me.

Even followed me here from NEM and GSS message boards: harrment, stalking, slander

Note that some shorts/bashers DO post in a positive way to wild_gold, but most real gold bulls know him to be a message board 'confuser' and 'attacker.'

When another poster and I suggested CDE might go sideways of pull back some....a few days ago,...and it DID occur...wild_gold attacked ONLY ME. We made it plain it was an ordinary technical consideration based on overhead resistance.

The poster and I were correct (Was it 'son' or 'alex' ?

Meanwhile, many professional technical analysts do not YET consider gold...the COMMODITY...to be in a confirmed UPTREND. YET.

I'm pointing that out, tho I bullush for the very, very long term for both gold and silver. MUCH more bullish on silver.

AND much more bullish re CDE now with Franco renegotiation.

When CDE was touching recent lows in 6.60's, and son, alex, edmund and I (several posters on different threads, not sure which ones)....were commenting it looked worthwhile as an 'add'...wild_gold was posting his endless attacks and diversions.

As for PRAN, as I expected and posted here. it appears it has been vindicated. The research problems were precisely what I mentioned. See pivalde and kadaicher, interestingtome and other posters on the Yahoo message board. Results analyzed and clarified by presentation today at the Alzheimer's Conference in Copenhagen (AAIC), which was attended by a Yahoo poster (interestingtome). UPDATED scientific analysis available at Pranabio website.

Anyone who failed to load up in the 1's (while holding shares from higher) as I did, failed to get a near term gain...from 1.40's to 2.80's...and (always only my opinion) likely multibagger to new hi

Being held down for big pharma/certain hedge funds to buy to cover and then buy LONG... as low as possible. Perfect day for manipulation, with horrible downing of plane in the news. See my posts on the CDE and NEM message boards re 'orchestrated pain and chaos.'

Just my opinion. We live in treacherous times.

Meanwhile, I will accumulate as much PRAN as I can, as low as possible.

AND there is a correlation between gold prices and the accumulation of 'planned' crises shoved into the faces of ALL US citizens, including blacks, Hispanics, the poor, the middle class, workers, employers...ALL are negatively impacted by this orchestration of calamities by the current O administration.

The radical-left-in-charge-of-suffocating-you has been putting all the chess pieces in place so the US and its libert-loving friends and allies will be weakened. Meanwhile, as Soros and is allies in the O administration have admitted, China and NON-LIBERTY-LOVING NATIONS will be stronger. It's the Cloward-Pivens goal. In fact, Cloward-Pivens aims for US chaos and complete TAKEOVER by the radical left.

Horrible. I've been stating we are in a more dangerous world now than we've been since WWII due to 'strategic' actions (remvoing defense from Poland/eastern Europe, fomenting problems in Middle East with dissemination of arms to those who 'became' ISIS, and dozens of other destabilizing moves among both former allies and 'friends').

Criminal gangs 'assisting' poor children across the Mexican border, after having abused, sometimes raped them, according to numerous reports. Of course, the media was COMMANDED not to take notes, interview or tape anyone...not to take any photos. Numerous whistleblowers include border patrol agents, medical personnel on the scene, various ethical persons who observe the human tragedy ORCHESTRATED by the current administration. The 'coyotes' were told to tell thefamilies/children (and there were apparently billboards in place all over the countries involved) that they would have a 'free pass' into the US, free health care, free food, etc. Mainstream folks, including MINORITIES who know the dangers of criminal gangs, potential terrorists, and drug-resistant and even untreatable TB, are compassionate...and want the children treated well...but know they ALL must go home.

Same thing occurring to me on numerous boards lately, especially if I mention the most objective realities regarding

or ways to obtain information on technical trading or on objective take on the economy.

Did NOT post links to any websites.

I think some post science links and the Yahoo software immediately deletes. Put info re the links to abstracts on a separate post and see if they disappear.

It's sad we have difficulty linking to scientific abstracts and also posting direct quotations from the research.

Leftists have a Truth and Objectivity Problem.

I have friends who are financially challenged, intellectually challenged, 'vertically' challenged, challenged in any number of ways, even simultaneously.

Leftists who are 'Truth-Challenged' and 'Objectivity-Challenged' may SOMETIMES be helped with prayer, patience, or perhaps being thrown off a horse (as in case of St. Paul) and then being helped by a non-lefty stranger, while (for the first time!) REALLY groping for Truth.

Meanwhile, they cannot be authentic friends, or even worthwhile posters on a Yahoo message board.

Since 'The End Justifies the Means' for an authentic leftist, there is no reason to perceive or state ANY truth UNLESS it advances the cause...which in the end is toatlitarian control of anyone...especially those disagrees with their sick and oppressive worldview. Those who AGREE and are simply dupes will be astounded that they too must be 'controlled' in ways they never expected and to an extent that will be suffocating, perhaps eventaully deadly (due to the anti-people 'beliefs' of the LeftyReligion).

  • Safety is a factor in my biotech chioices.

Posted numerous other lists of abstracts and poster presentations, patents for ASTM, but they did not post.

    Go to website.

Current plan as expressed by ASTM is challenging, but comprehensive.

Altho Seeking Alpha articles are usually simply the opinion of the author, in this particular case, the author has some views worth considering.

On the other hand, small biotech is extremely speculative.

When my friends inquire regarding my picks, I insist must use extreme caution:

either buy TINY quantity of shares and hold for very LONG term

find some way to keep some gains and protect from loss: eg, WISE options strategies and/or trading with professional knowledge of technical analysis and of the specific 'tricks' used AGAINST small biotech (eg, bear attacks of various sorts, including surprise articles).

    Just my opinion.

Options 'persperations' this week. We'll see what transpires.

BUY on NEWS? Nope. I choose the biotechs and the alt energies based on the science and look for TECHNICAL ENTRY, especially one coinciding with smack down 'complete' (post dilution, post r/s, post as much bad news as possible). Then I begin to accumulate very GRADUALLY, occasionally adding 'extra' shares for bounce trades to SELL into any news, until/unless reversal is clear.

I accumulate long positions as low as possible.

I may take a 'bookmark' munch as I begin to examine a stock, but that's ONLY because I have so many family and business interruptions that I cannot count on watching markets continually...so I like haveing a tiny quantity of 'potential longs' to watch/check technicals/news.
