I'm still in at 19.90 and bought a few days before divy but I am unsure how high it will go. I will give it a little bit but they are bound to drop the divy next qrt and that will drop the stock.. If I can get out with this near 25 I'll be happy..
I am not long haul on this. I am 1 dividend and whatever gains it gets. This sector has major long term issues and I'll eventually watch on the side. If it does dip to 15-16 i'll look again. I don't see the dividend this high lasting past this 1 qrt.
Shorting near 52 week lows is a stupid bet IMO. Could it make new lows. Of course it could but the risks far out weigh the gains. Especially with such a huge dividend. Shorts would be smart to cover at least for a few days drive it up and then try again..
I bought in the 19's. I am up already and will hold for dividend at least. If this thing can get to 23 I might take my 20% and dividend and move on. I am in way too much tech and specifically the HD having WDC also..
See it held above 20.. It was a fight but today the longs won some back. Should be up to 21 by dividend date. After that who knows..
I can't tell you how many times I thought was a low for it to test a new low. If we all knew bottoms we would be rich. Recent ones. CMI I bought at 106 tested 80's.. TWTR bought 38 and still have. DMND bought at 38 and tested 13 only to make a profit above 40.. All those stocks had very far drops already.. Patience pays off. I never lost a dime on any of those stocks eventually. Thought TWTR I have doubts about...
I bought STX on the dividend. 12% is a lot.. At least for 1 qrt. I make a profit plus dividend can't go wrong.
It probably will be reduced. How can they give a 12% dividend?? Yet the CEO bought 4 million in stock that speaks volume about what he feels the company is worth. We are on the outside.
Just buy low and hold. I might not find bottom on every stock but good companies bounce back..
Avg volume is over 7 million. Tell me what you know that all those people don't and how come you're not a millionaire?? Sorry guessing bottom is just that. Take a stab where there is good value and sit tight.. I did that in the 19's.
Buy low sell high? Eventually all stocks have a bottom. I am in at the 19's and want that easy dividend. How do you expect to make money if you don't take a chance.
