Since the valuations of the "Ordinary Shares" are unaffected, then 100,000 shares at $0.01 Australian, the current pps of the stock, would equal $1,000 AUD
And $0.01 AUD coverts to $0.0078 USD. This makes it easy for you to figure out the amount of shares and their new prices come Monday morning March 30, 2015.
and potential shareholders what the cause and effect of the split of the ADR shares are in the pricing of the shares.
There is no mention at all in the PR, or anywhere on the Samson Web site that I can find, of the prices of the split before or after, or if there is any change at all to the pricing per share.
This does not seem legal to me.
Samson Oil & Gas needs to address these question and post an answer prior to the end of trading today, as the split happens when trading opens on Monday, March 30, 2015.
that represented to shareholders and potential shareholders what the results would be before or after the split event - there was no language representing if no change would be seen at all for shareholders or potential shareholders.
1. What are the "PRE" prices per share for Shareholders and Potential Shareholders to consider?
2. What are the "POST" prices per share for Shareholders and Potential Shareholders to consider?
3. Is there "ANY" change in the price per share for Shareholders and Potential Shareholders to consider?
There is no mention of the pricing structure in the Split PR at all - is this legal?
prices? I have not been able to locate anything.
Is there a requirement by the NYSE MKT Exchange that the pre and post prices be presented to Shareholders and potential shareholders prior to the split?
I can't locate any information on the prices for the split.
That's assuming the split is priced at $0.25 to $0.30 per share, however neither of those share prices are listed anywhere on the Samson Web site, or in any of the PR's for the stock which I can find.
The last time the pps was at $0.25 was Feb 13, 2015.
The last time the pps was at $0.30 was Nov 21, 2014.
It seems more likely the pps of the stock for the split would be based on today's closing prices which would be around $1.90 post split, or $0.19 per share pre split. Isn't there a requirement by the NYSE MKT Exchange that the pre and post split prices be presented to investors and potential investors prior to the actual event?
cash, you sure spend a lot of time on this board Jiimy.
Remember, you did claim to be a lawyer.
If you are not, and you have been dispensing legal advice on this board to me and others who have a different point of view than yours, well, that's a crime.
Here are a few articles from the Web of those persons impersonating a lawyer
"Accused of impersonating a lawyer, Duluth man heading to prison"
"Democratic donor jailed for impersonating a lawyer"
"Minnesota Man Convicted for Posing as Lawyer"
"Skokie Man Charged With Impersonating Lawyer"
"A man accused of impersonating a lawyer in at least 10 states has been ... Fake lawyer gets real sentence."
"This week a man from Illinois was convicted for impersonating a lawyer."
"As at January 9, 2014 the book value of the hedge was $2.7 million as valued by Samson’s counterparty."
"As at March 13th, 2015 the book value of the hedge was $2.2 million as valued by Samson’s counterparty."
Looks like the the hedge is winding down.

And around the bowl they go...
Where they stop only the City knows...
of oil has made airstrikes on another country that happens to be located at the choke hold of the World for oil shipments?
Gee, America has no export agreements for our oil so it has ZERO effect on us.
Gee, America is cutting back on production, rigs, and employees...
but America has so much production there is no place to store the oil we get from own selves...
Gee, there's really no news here for America to be getting all worked up about is there?
Gee, no I guess you're right Vern.
continues to out STRIP holding tanks to put it in...
and you're worried about the Middle East?
What's wrong with you...are you old ge ezers still in the Reagan Administration?
Figure it out...oilers are cutting back on employees, cutting rigs, and cutting new production...
But the flow of oil continues from developed fields and is so strong there is limited space for it to be stored...
There is no oil & gas crisis in America anymore
GET A CLUE !@!
America is done with the Middle East...
Just where do you think any of their oil would get stored in the USA?
Next month Cushing will be full, where they gonna put all of the production then?
What would you do with an extra $1,000?
Well, I have been homeless for the last couple of years because of several bad investments I mad. My life partner and I had a 1977 Pink Good Time Van that we lived in, it was pretty nice with carpeting, a small fridge, and a very comfortable double bed. We had to sell it to pay off some debts we had. So, if I had an extra $1000 I would buy another van or small camper we could live in.
Where are you living now?
Right now, my life partner and I are living in a Shelter, down by the river.
Oh, I see, well thanks for your time...
Sandy is always mentioning the hedge for oil which Samson has arranged. But the amount of barrels in the hedge is so small, I would think this is the reason why the wells have either been shut in, or throttled down - because the more they pump the faster they use up their hedging. At the current price per barrel, I would think the real per barrel price would be around $65 to make a profit. Which of course is around $20 more than oil is selling for - lmao, Sandy, Jethro, and the MMan....Get your boxtops and pick a busy intersection.
Sandy was spotted collecting aluminum cans off the street and in the park. Jethro is trying a new pan handling scheme of setting up a tent in the Walmart parking lot and playing his harmonica at the door for tips. The MMan has taken a part time job at "Shelter News" giving away free subscriptions to help bring in a few cents. Things are looking bleak for Sandy, Jethro, and the MMan too.
