Also look at Zappos, the largest online footwear retailer: UGG Classics are the number one selling women's shoe (not merely boot). And five of the top 11 are UGGs. Google trends and Alexa online measures show strong interest as well. Google trends show UGG interest is ahead of last year. I would note, too, that more diverse styles are spreading UGG sales more widely. Look at the UGG website, for example, and see how Kristin and Cory boots are selling in the various colors. They've been restocking the former, but they keep selling out. The latter are presently out of stock in all sizes and colors (except one pair). I've seen good sales of Kristins in other countries (such as France) as well. Zappos slipper sales are massive as well. So while this is not a year of a buying frenzy for UGG Classics, it is looking like a very solid year. The stock price is completely insane, driven by ignorant people. Eventually I expect it to recover strongly.
