you are exactly right about where the president is trying to take us and there appears to be no one that can stop his agenda.
this country has changed forever, by the way the supreme court is ruling. the supreme court was set up to enforce the law as it was written. we have now entered into a time where the supreme court regardless of how a law is written, it has taken on the power to rule on how a law effects the "current political climate of the land".
Chief justice Roberts said in his ruling that he was deciding the law based on the "congressional intent of the law as he saw it. His ruling was not based on legal, but political.
I was afraid it would not hit at 3:57 p.m. so I raised it 3 cents to 41.73 and the order was filled.
it hit 41.70 just at the close. don't know if it would have been filled.
I agree with your logic. Now is the time to buy. limit order at 41.70. will bring the limit up a little bit this afternoon if it does not get down to 41.70, in order to get the buy.
I see your point about being in margin. rough situation to be in. I hope you can get out of this with as little lose as possible. good luck.
you are right about the mismanagement. it has effected the price. if I am reading your post correctly you bought as a short term hold, thinking the $53 price was going to go up. in an time when interest rates are supposed to go up utilities are not a good buy, for a short term hold. I still believe if you hold out, after the initial rate increases, this stock will rebound.
for some reason you fail to mention the juicy over 5% percent dividend you will be receiving. and history shows that even as rates go up and effect the stock price of so, the stock price will come back up after the initial rate increases. long term, and I repeat long term this stock is a buy.
if you are in this long term for the dividend, it is a great buy at these prices. people are not going to stop using electricity. sure your principal will go down on the rate increases but like I said. if you are in it for the great dividend you will come out ahead in the long run.
to say that management has made some bad decisions is an understatement.
company with long term reputation for solid dividend starting to lose some of its flavor.
