Two things Boxhead.
1) Do you really think that African Americans read a stock board where half the posts are created by racist freaks like CL, Gotty or Packy?.
2) African Americans are probably far more informed about the history of slavery and the southern Klan than a low information voter such as yourself.
Responding to your first paragraph. Republican strategist Lee Atwater laid out the Republican Southern Strategy in an interview.
"You start out in 1954 by saying, [the N word]. ." By 1968 you can't say [that word]" — that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. "
Didn't read the emotional flatulence of your second and subsequent paragraphs.
You are wrong Boxman. The Democrats embraced the civil rights movement which alienated southern racists. The Republicans, under Nixon, used the Southern Strategy to win the south by appealing to racism against African Americans. That is why racists like CL, Gotty and Packy are Republicans.
Still awaiting your PM chump.
Good news stories about the Affordable Care Act coming out daily. People are signing up, saving money and gaining real health care coverage. Republican efforts to sabotage the ACA have failed.
Next up, single payer. It is the most efficient health insurance system. That is good for American competitiveness. In turn, it is good for the markets and good for GLW.
Are you dense? Said he was getting his gun, said he wanted my details, called his bluff, haven't heard from him since.
It was an idle threat from stemming from an idle mind. He's little more than a yapping dog. Just like you.
Is he a liar too?
Shame on CL, sharing his homoerotic fantasies on a stock board. What happens in CL's bathroom should stay in CL's bathroom.
Don't be obtuse Boxman. If civil war erupts, you would hide in your basement trembling like a frightened child. I stand by that statement.
Stick your threats up your democracy hating #$%$. Wanna save $5,000. PM me your contact information. My lawyer and I will be in touch.
Now you are backtracking. Like I said, not credible. Dress Blues are formal wear. Typically worn to balls. Do you really expect us to believe that a Marine jumped up and delivered an impromptu rant against the President of the United States at a formal ball?
You would pick up nothing. You'd hide in your basement trembling like a frightened child.
BTW: You aren't fooling anyone. The entire board knows that you are just another of WGBOXMAN5's troll aliases.
Demytoo is WGBOXMAN5. The entire board knows it.
Boxman makes a habit of using multiple aliases to thumbs up and thank himself for posting. Like Packy, Boxman tries to cover his tracks by preemptively accusing other people of using aliases. Why are WGBOXMAN and PACKY such liars?
Hey Boxhead, you cowardly dullard. Just when I thought you had gone as low as you can go, you show us that you are indeed the lowest form of slime ball. Don't you dare disrespect a Marine like that. You owe him an apology.
Gar4one may be correct. Right wing extremists like wgboxman, CL, Packy and Gotty always seem to bash the stock and harass longs. Click their IDs and read their posting history.
Go GLW. Shorts like boxhead, CL, Packy and Gotty hate it when people say that.
Be aware that your post is not credible . Marines are NOT allowed to speak before a partisan political gathering while in dress blue. See Federal Law (Titles 10, 2, and 18, United States Code), Department of Defense (DOD) Directives, and specific military regulations.
Tea Party is no longer useful to the GOP. They have become little more than a circus sideshow.
Speaking of circus sideshows; Boxman posted another dreary rant. That irrelevant moron needs to get a life instead of relying on this stock board as an outlet for his frustration and feelings of inadequacy.
Saying that the number of people paying for it is factually incorrect. Moreover, it doesn't even address where federal dollars go:
Social Security: 22%
Medicare, Medicaid and Chip: 21%
Social Safety Net: 12%
Federal retirement and veterans benefits: 7%
Infrastructure and transport: 3%
Science and Research: 2%
Want to have a meaningful discussion about relative spending compared to other OECD nations?
We spend more on defense than Europe and Asia combined.
We are at the bottom of the OECD when it comes to social programs.
Our private health insurance system is ranked as the least efficient in the industrialized world.
We have more people in jail than every other country on earth.
Our life expectancy is shorter than most developed countries. Our infant mortality rate is higher.
The facts are clear. Republican policies are driving this country into the ground. Tea Baggers are trying to force Republicans to drive this country into the ground faster.
Republican Senator John Cornyn of Texas is ranked as the second most conservative senator in America, He is going to be facing a primary challenge from Tea Party radical Steve Stockman who called Senator Cornyn a "liberal". Should be a good matchup - obstructionist Cornyn vs radical Stockman. Expect more like it in the months leading up to 2014 as the civil war in the GOP heats up.
What a pathetic display of self pity this post is. Sorry freelo, but you lost the 2012 election. You need to work through the grieving process. Make yourself psychological well so that you can deal with Hillary Clinton's 2016 victory.
This is why the Dems don't need to worry about 2014. Republicans and Tea Party radicals have to cater to racists and ignorant buffoons. It leads to electoral losses.
Companies can do a few things well or try to do a lot of things poorly. Sounds like Dow Corning has made the decision to focus on doing fewer things well. They say they are "selectively shifting our portfolio away from assets that are no longer a strategic fit and optimizing their value". Probably a good business decision in light of revenue declines from 2012 to 2013.
Georgia, have you seen something to suggest that there are discussions underway about dissolving the actual Dow-Corning partnership?
Arrs, the discussion about the crime and poverty is an important one. That problem is larger in America than in developed countries with more progressive social programs. We have more incarcerated people and higher crime rates than every other country.
You have to be careful of overusing references to slavery or Hitler in debates. They detract from the discussion.
