Objective: GH replacement therapy currently requires daily injections, which may cause poor compliance, inconvenience and distress for patients. CTP-modified hGH (MOD-4023) has been developed for once-weekly administration in GH deficient (GHD) adults and children. Pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics, (PD) efficacy and safety analysis of weekly treatment with MOD-4023 in GHD naïve children was performed and compared to daily hGH. more..
Conclusions: This is the first report describing PK, PD, efficacy and safety results of extended treatment with MOD-4023 in pediatric patients with GHD. MOD-4023 administration to GHD children further confirmed its long acting properties. This study further affirmed that a single weekly injection of MOD-4023 has the potential to replace seven consecutive daily injections of currently marketed hGH in pediatric GHD patients and provided data for dose selection for the company’s upcoming Phase 3 trial.

  • Some very interesting recruits from Abbott now at OPK. ABT looks like it could use some beefing up in its CKD business. Maybe ABT partner for Rayaldy ? They have tried some CKD stuff with Reata Pharm. If it smells fishy it might be fishy.

Now that SEP OEX is over we will move and rapidly. Fake spike manipulated down to wash out the stops, massive volume and we're on the way. Stay tuned it's coming.

  • J.C. Parets CMT- Nice long bases where sentiment data is showing extreme bearish readings can really resolve themselves violently. You’re getting a base breakout and short-squeeze all in one. We love that.
My favorite characteristic of a base is that brief shakeout before the eventual resolution. “From false moves come very fast moves in the opposite direction”, is the way I was taught. After a long frustrating base consolidation, sometimes you’ll have a brief shake out in one direction, only to quickly turn around, get back into the range, and then break out in the opposite direction.

Wow Shortie is pretty scared it's pathetically funny. Almost as funny as house of cards and Bozo's $0 prediction. Let the short blood in the streets flow LMFAO So far I'm up 100%. NVCN Frost mad 500% in 1 1/2 years. I expect more than that from OPKO in a couple more years.

When it starts rocketing I will double and then triple my position just to kcuf with the shorts, can't wait.

  • Neovasc Opko invested 2 mill plus an option for another 1mil in NVCN total cost $1.09 a share it's now $5.31. But the shorts argument is that they're smarter than OPK management.. We will soon see the decision on that. COCP, MSLP, RXII,DRNE ALQA all Frost. Frosty the Short Slayer. "We've always enjoyed a large short position" yes Dr. they're tasty roasted.

Swipe to unlock patent, the giant fiasco...the elephant in the room. They want to weigh in on a SA article but no comment on this #$%$?

  • Read my earlier posts. All you speculative call buyers do is enable the shorts. The higher the short interest the more slot machine playing, lottery ticket buying types are attracted. I was an Option Principal for 20+ years and the shorts laugh at the option specs you are kindling for the fire. If you do not know how to open a credit or debit spread and be satisfied with the limited potential therein you should not have an option position. If you are not writing covered calls you should not have an option position , if you are not buying downside insurance on your long position ...If you are a long option buyer you are at best a head a litlle overall in your account. Again someone with an ID , a money order and big lottery dreams buys OOM calls. It takes a questionnaire minimum net worth, and a large account equity to WRITE calls and Puts. So guess who the food for the shark is LMFAO. When the option idiots leave then and only then will OPK move. Almost all of the out of money Calls money will be taken in Sep again just like it has for the last several months. It has now gotten to the point where the value of even the Jan call specs are down big. The weekly options were put there for spread positions and to harvest more $ to mitigate the shorts losses. I have never met anyone who made it big in options, if they did have big score it was pisd away on subsequent trades. the casino keeps you engaged with flashy stories. Buy equity, use margin judiciously, write calls (on part of your position only), buy puts

Interesting company. I got in today . 17 mm market cap who knows with the Border chaos maybe it will get on a rip ala' DGLY if not just hold on for awhile. I can see cops wanting the things to any number of things, mount license plate readers on it, high value aggressive driving citations, DUI observation platforms, special events on and on.

  • They are trapped and desperate 20 day to cover short ratio no volume to cover into. This is why they are constantly trying to scare people into giving up and selling . Now the story is nothing to see here till next year, from the previous line which was, it's worth nothing and everything is worth $0 LMFAO. There is a Halloween scare in the works for you Brian Bozo... BOOO! ...ROFL pathetic short MFers 9=11% interest just on maintaining the short position so do the math you stooooopid skcuf. Thanks for trying to save us all from a wait, but I think the odds here of a huge payoff for longs is pretty darn good. I'll hang out in Dr. Frost;s waiting room! You have to believe 3 billionaires are financially illiterate to buy the short's pipe dream.

As I said the avg duration of the strategy is about 7-14 days on/off my guess is they have made 25- 30% on an ANNUALIZED basis (1% a week is 52% a year) yes it is big money I estmate every 5000 shares is a 1/3 ratio write. Once it moves up the call buying specs will flock like moths to a flame rinse repeat. Will level off at the next higher level.

When I say dip it's not a short term thing and I am not a "swing trader" I think the low here is 8.82 or so +- .10. And OPK has a nice side way channel of many many months. When i bought almost 2 years ago Aug/sep 2012 I planned o AT LEAST a 3 year commitment. Look at the long channel in the 2s, 4s now the 8-9.

Frost is a Genius. Anyone from S Fl. like me is aware of him. I think the shorts here do respect him like I have said they just know how to play a long term power house like this. Short the spikes / ratio write/ use the clueless sheep lottery ticket out of the money call buyers to fund the strategy. the relentless buying fuels the LT strategy here. Watching hyper-ventilating option specs throw their money away is sad. But when they are here around shorts, big money players, HFs and Institutions, use shortie to accumulate a long position on the fall off from the spikes. Shortie makes money ratio writing and shorting, big long position builders use the herd. I have occasionally sold calls and some puts when the noise gets really loud. If there's another opportunity, it may be Bozza writes an "update" for his annual gathering coming up soon? Don't know if it has much effect the short story is pretty much a yawn now.

Meant 160k 160,000 contracts at 14/15 put/call credit spread. That is a potential 16,000,000 shares in play if it were to break out of the spread net credit. Looks like shortie does not like his trading strategy exposed to the light. If the long call specs would just buy the stock, hell use margin, instead this thing would take off like a rocket. They will keep jackin it up and down taking their money. Meanwhile the billionaires let shortie work this game so they can accumulate cheap. The game is the big boys game. The fools are the swing traders and option jockeys . The trading desks laugh at the peons buying their single ticket opening positions, trust me. Only the spread, straddle and writers make big money. An overwhelming majority of long one sided open positions (put or call) lose money to the seller(writer). Think about it , llook up the minimum account equity and margin requirement and account paperwork in order to write naked puts or spreads. Then know that someone with a money order and a brokerage account can buy a freakin call LMFAO... Like I said close the option market down and the playing field will be a lot better for the small investor, until then it's a killing field.

You got it! Who's doing this you ask. My guess. The same HF that sold short down from 12,11 10, 9. Then in the 8s They buy In the money calls and sell at a multiple ratio out of the money calls. this is called a variety of things like ratio writes, Technically it is gamma-delta neutral option spread. I found a lengthy but complete explanation for you on Investopedia google an introduction to gamma delta neutral. They hold these positions a week or two, rinse / repeat. The thing that makes it all possible though is.... Long option call speculators. the cannon fodder for the whole operation, because they have to be able to ratio- write out of the money. So story stocks, that are fundamentally long term trend up are perfect for this. It takes months before the lemmings (call specs)are exhausted. I saw it most recently last year in GTAT. They shorted it same option activity. i bot GTAT at $4 and got out at 9. The pumpers are also part of the shorts game here too. Hope this helped. i think the smoke is clearing. These are very sophisticated traders. i just watch the stock wait for the dip to level off and buy and hold the stock. usually at least a year or two is the lifespan of these guys position play.
