Agree, but trouble is, if you've been a shareholder, over years now, like I know you have, it's gotten to be a bigger and bigger "bargain". Hope some day it doesn't wind up being free... ;-)
Been long quite a while now, averaged down several times.
Met a guy in the airport claimed to be an exec with an energy consulting firm. Got talking about ng vehicles. His opinion WPRT would eventually make $, but FSYS would likely remain a fringe player, due big cos like Cummins, GE developing in house expertise.
Don't know if knew what he's talking about, but I'm becoming more and more concerned about FSYS seeming to fumble the ball for so long, losing customers, the lack of credibility displayed by management in conference calls etc. IMHO if they don't start to capitalize on their experience and the technology they claim to have and convince someone big to play ball with them pretty soon, afraid it may indeed become too late.
Yeah it is a tough crowd, hope you're right about 28.75 being a bottom... or now have to say thereabouts, as it just hit 28.71.
You must not have been following the numerous posts about this. I swapped my LINE for LNCO soon after the BRY merger went ahead. The large number of shares going to BRY shareholders and their selling is what most seem to believe to be the reason for the inversion. A few weeks ago put on a spread when LINN $2.08 was higher than LNCO. The spread is working, but of course, I'm not happy with what's been happening to LNCO.
I've been in this stock a long time and while approval of the clay mining is fine, IMO it's just an interim step toward getting the answer (which has taken far longer than I expected) to THE key question, which remains whether WLC has deposits that can be mined to produce Li economically.
Until we get that answer, all the news, rumors will likely push the sp around, like any highly speculative stock.
IMO he's just a showman knows (or his staff knows) a little something about most stocks. His picks and pans are about as good as flipping a coin. Some will follow his winners and think he's a genius, some his losers and think he's a jerk, when in reality it''s mostly just luck of the draw.
Maybe you weren't around last June when it dropped nearly $17 in one day, which was quite a bit bigger % then. Not saying this isn't a big drop and the day isn't over... hoping its not a top.
Company progress or lack thereof, factors affecting lithium, drilling mud demand etc. You know, boring, adult kinda stuff... that probably wouldn't interest you... ;-)
Whatever happened to this board? it used to have occasional worthwhile posts, now we have mostly silly, grade-school, chest-pounding (aka bs) posts and retorts, like most other mb boards.
IMO nobody really knows with any degree of certainty whatsoever, what the price of WLCDF or ARTX will be next week or any other time soon.
After 33 in business XOMA must hold the record for the most failed drugs. And yet here they are, after numerous stock offerings, reverse stock splits, still trudging on, adding to their total... ;-(
Put the spread on today at 2.08 (LINE-LNCO), think it has good risk reward. Of course. a short squeeze in LINE would be bad news for moi.
