I am sick and tired of being called a vulture by my government when all i am trying to do is save for my retirement. By the way my pension was frozen. PRIVATE ,company employees, unlike government employees, do not have the luxury of pensions anymore when competing against third world countries. Great to know my own government considers me a vulture
Great article though long and difficult to read. The good news is he's a lawyer and it's awesome he spent the time to summarize and analyze a 580 plus page document. The part that gave me pause was
Treasury's argument that the PSPA language permitting the PSPA to be "amended solely by a writing executed by both parties hereto" conveys a right to amend is pure horsepucky. Any business attorney knows that language is standard boilerplate used to ensure that subsequent dealings between the parties will not change the terms of an agreement without a writing. It is designed to preserve the original agreement.
That said, many judges were primarily litigators in private practice, not business or transactional counsel. It's not outside the realm of possibility for a former litigator turned judge to be persuaded. The judge in this case is Royce C. Lambert. His entire practice has been as a government attorney. With the exception of six years early in his career with the Judge Advocate General's office, his entire career has been in or supervising litigation.
Although the writer's analysis of the argument is great, his description of judge lambert makes me nervous

Over on TH717 a gentleman mentioned that 43% of the trades friday were sold short (looked it up this was true) and that the price went up (Again true). He mentioned this was great news and there in lies my question. The price movement up great but how can 43% be considered great news? Tim agreed with him. I would have asked on his sight but it got buried.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
well somebody better tell the gov. that because thats what it looks like they're doing
