What's going on? The volatility CFTN's stock price is outrageous. I do not like this wild roller coast ride. It is causing me to vomit.
I believe the volatility arises from management's lack of fair and full disclosure. Some investors know what's going on, and other investors do not know.
Let's all put pressure on management ant the BOD to adhere to fair and full disclosure.
On CFTN's website under "Recent Announcements", it states, "Clifton Mining Co. has released three new videos. Each video highlights the heap leach's progress from a different angle." Did anyone see a news release on this? I have seen no such news release. Does just posting an announcement to the website constitute fair disclosure required under the SEC's Rule FD?
Have any of you contacted CFTN management regarding this announcement and why it is not in a news release?
You are either fool or a pumper. Either way you are a loser. HGT most probably fall even more. Nat gas is at $2.53 today.
So we don't need stupid people like you posting here.
Management has stated several times, if CFTN has revenues from mining activities it could be listed on the American Stock Exchange. Obviously, it does not qualify for listing on the NYSE or Nasdaq. I do not know for certain if it qualifies for the American Exchange. I only know what we have been promised for several years now.
I am tired of the sloppy trading. How many of you would call Ken Friedman (303) 642-0659 or (303) 642-3134, or Mr. Reid (210)355-2376 or Scott Moeller (801)756-1414 and tell them we are tired of the sloppy trading in CFTN? I am calling all 3 of them. I have already called Ken Friedman and Mr. Reid.
The only reason we have this sloppy trading is management has not, as promised my times, filed a Form 10 and listed the stock on an exchange. It is pathetic that management allows this sloppy trading to continue. On days like today we have swings from $.20 to $.14. This is absolute madness.
Let's let the BOD and management hear we are tired of broken promises, and we shareholders suffer because of their inaction.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
When I wrote my opinions last summer and fall, I thought it would be properly priced between $7 and $8. I thought nat gas would fall because of oversupply. However, I never dreamed we would see nat gas this low and HGT clear down to $5.60. I should have stayed with my short position. I got impatient, and the monthly cash distribution was bothersome every time (monthly) I had to pay it out.
However, I do now believe HGT and nat gas are at their bottoms. However, I could be wrong. But I certainly would not short HGT at this price. I read below where someone sold the puts. That may not be a bad strategy.
However, I did not believe it would end up this low. Who would have thought that both oil and gas would be at today's prices?
Does anyone know at what price it is a good time to buy HGT? I certainly closed out my short position way too early. Looks like I will be put on my May $7.50 puts and own HGT at $6.90 basis.
Is HGT going all the way to $5?
