That is what is keeping me hanging in there. A lot of nonsense goes on with this stock. At some point those in the know will be ready to cash in and the stock price will move upward (hopefully).
Your thoughts on today's 3Q report ....... can't imagine it would be considered a disaster, but I have been wrong before (plenty of times with this stock). Big volume with little price move ,,,,,, not sure what that means.
Wise - again, I am not disputing what you compute from he Bovie presentations / quarterly reports ..... but doesn't it concern you that with this knowledge out there the stock price continues to slide downward. These are bright people in the medical device business, don't you think they would jump on a sure winner ... if it was a winner? And as a reminder I am sure hoping that good things come to Bovie ..... but at this point I am starting to wonder (to say the least).
I understand that ...... but why are those who work in this field jumping all over this stock (and I wish they were) given the numbers you/Bovie talks about ?
Wise - if what you say is true (and I certainly hope it is) ...... why aren't those on the inside of medical field (or anyone else) jumping on the stock? We have been drifting downward for months now .......
The story told sounds so good, Sales are increasing some, the July sales #'s are very promising, yet the share price has been on a constant decline. Hard to figure out what is going on here (at least it is for me).
I think he is referring to the secondary offering from a couple months ago ... raised about $11M. Bike feels that Gershon and his crew are just using those funds as an ATM for their salaries. Despite the appearance of this statement possibly being true, I can't believe that Gershon and crew are in this for a paycheck. But then again, it is unbelievable the way that this stock has tanked given the promise of J-plasma that Gershon proclaims.
Bike tends to have more correct info / insight than others. I read his post and get discouraged. Twenty minutes later, someone buy a million shares, so who knows where this is headed. I have a feeling the person who just bought a million shares thinks he/she knows something.
Bovie management is certainly adding staff as if they are expecting great things. Not sure what is going to be the 'spark' to set off J-Plasma, I guess we will have to wait to see if it happens.
Agreed, it has been awhile, but the investment has been made. So my two choices are to sell or 'hope' they are as successful as they say they can be. At this point I am okay with hoping.
I know nothing (as you can tell from my optimism), but they sure seem to be gearing up for something big. Hired a lot of "high-powered" salesmen/women for a product that hasn't had many sales (yet). Also, they seem to be throwing every negative financial detail/cost into the recent quarter ... maybe to make the future numbers better ??? Again, I'm probably just an optimist.
This is certainly true. I don't know anything more than the average shareholder (maybe less), but it seems like they have gather some strong players in the medical device field onto the team. But as you said, it has been a long, long time with many, many "right around the corners."
that obviously would be better news for Bovie ....... after listening to yesterday's conference call, everything generally sounded good .... we now just wait for 2015 for any appreciable share price increase ???
Would each surgeon have their own generator? Or would each site have one generator (the size of the facility might make one unit impractical)
