Look, the reason that the stock is down-and unfortunately will stay down for several months-is for two interrelated reasons. First, many speculators hoped that the FDA would put the drug back on the front burner and give it their blessings and second, we now have a longer time table, and perhaps mandated by less than favorable results. The latter is pure speculation but that is what makes both good and-in this case-bad markets. This is going to take some time to sort out, as noted probably months. What might save the stock in the near term would be good results with 113 but that is off in the future. I'm long the stock and think it is a hold in here and would guess that it will bounce around between the current price and up or down 5%, certainly not 50% or more, 113 however being a kind of "wild-card," and that in either direction.

No one seems to be paying much attention to this, but a small Chinese smart phone company, OnePlus, is offering an unlocked phone for $299 and it is a terrific phone both in terms of looks and functionality, especially at this price point. Reviewer and customer comments are very favorable right across the board. In my opinion after using it for three weeks, it is superior to Apple and just about anything else on the market. There are a lot of implications, not the least of which is that it can only be used on ATT or T-Mobile due to technological considerations.

The market IS the market. No company, like in "none" would ever pay a premium of more than 20% for another company. Why? Simple, because their shareholders would scream and stomp. For years pundits on this site speculate-and that is all it is-on a takeout. If it happens, think more,of a $10 price. Now with that said, if something fundamentally changes the picture, the "number could change, and note that could,be in either direction depending on the fundamental, change, good or bad. And I might add, these recent deals complicate the picture for a potential acquirer, if there was even one around. Potential revenues and profitability are being compromised.

To. Answer the question, "yes." First of all he is not an "analyst." And second and most importantly, no large company, or in this case supposedly two large companies, would let anyone in on their game plan. And as to a takeout at $20 a share, forget it. No public company would dare to pay that kind of premium, management would be sacked. This stock, like most pharmas, is a pure speculation. A good one perhaps, but speculation nonetheless.

    Sentiment: Hold
