Do you think it's odd that AAPL has 200 billion in cash and can not find anything to do with it?
Why don't they at least improve their O/S, or Email?
Custom chips? Design a new product? Run AAPL education schools or classes to push the brand?
Does AAPL lack vision and creativity? Tim Cook and AAPL seems sort of like Onasiss, a purveyor of plastic plants?
Goes to show internal money shifting can not always save a company.
AAPL relies heavily on keeping profits offshore, and recording maximum tax losses in the US.
As the Dollar rises that should add to AAPL's profits rather than hurt them.
Cheaper production prices, should equate into better retail margins.
It will be interesting to see how the trolls who look through AAPL numbers come up with.
Believing that frozen peas are more profitable than supplements and cosmetics is a huge WFM mistake. Why have 1000 kinds of cheese when 20 or 30 will do. If WFM's Allegro Coffee Bar wants to compete with SBUX it will need some seating. Same thing for Deli food, if WFM wants to be a Deli it will need some seating. WFM puts all the leftover deli food and groceries in the dumpster rather than giving it the employees and neighborhood. The other thing that kills WFM is it's yuppie corporate image, there is nothing cool about going to WFM it's just like going to Kroger or SBUX.
Plus all the WFM around here have lots of gay employees with an attitude, who wants to go to a high priced store/deli be served by someone who may have AIDS that talks down to you. It may be politically correct but it doesn't sell food, supplements, cosmetics, or deli/coffee bar.
Most of the people I know only buy deli foods from WF's, the WF grocery is just not on their agenda.
Seriously look down the grocery isles next time you are in WF's, where are the grocery customers?
Even the vitamin/supplement/cosmetic isle is without customers, and that's really high profit.
Other than produce will WF's be able to sell groceries in the long term, even without 365?
