McEwen admits to be looking for aquisitions. But then so is IAG since they were forced out of their some of their African interests. Could be either or new owners of AUQ you know AUQ is shopping the company to both of those minimum.
11/28 was the low for a 14 period money flow average. Is it almost 40% since the 11/28?
Is that fairly dramatic rise, for a beaten down stock?
All Auction shares had to be delivered by 1/31/2013.
Only 34% of the shares in the float were tendered.
Accepted 12%. There is 12% rise in earnings.
With out the Federal Reserve Board Director Jeff Imelt, holding GE up the XLF would be toast today.
Is the Auction Over? is the important point shares almost always decline during a "Dutch Auction" it is the nature of the beast. It the liquid price of shares that people are tendering. That the price stayed in the 7's is good news. It is strong stock. I expected the 5's during the Auction to force the weak out, which is the purpose of a Dutch Auction/ and or take control of a company. They make take AUQ private after this. Be aware of that possiblility. Carlos Slim would buy it just for the Mexico mines, and take it private.
The price goes down as the"Dutch Auction" proceeds. The Maxium offer is 8.30, all prices from there are lower. The price on Dutch Auction shares decreases as the time limt progresses. If they fill 8.30, with shares they have to buy, fine but, If the shares are 6 or 7 they get them at that price. There is no guaranty you get the 8.30 in a Dutch Auction. It is a price time match. Be sure you or your broker put a tendered price on your shares. Failed Dutch Auction do not attract any shares, or a few late or early in the auction, notice the price range on the Dutch Auctions with Time component.
The stock being 6 or 7 is good for the Auction, 5 would be better. Everyone would tender at the higher prices making it over subscibed even at 6. Read up on Dutch Auctions, they vary in price and terms. The most famous failure is AmericanCan/TriCan.
No is the simple answer. But you do get that Warren Buffett borrows the Bershire Dividend right? General RE is only composed of deriviates, that is a Buffett company. Or McDondalds they borrow the dividened every single quarter. Another Buffett operative. It is a relative term.
Are they borrowing to pay a special dividend no. That time has passed.
If you don't understand swaps, maybe you might think about bonds or CD's.?
Read the reports and project cash flow. Standard business stuff. Look for special situations. If this was normal old Valero stuff, it would be hard to work out. The new structure of Valero is easy for them and us. Which is why they did it.
There is another point that some folks miss about NS, it supplies most of the crude to Valero Refineries in the USA. Main lining full pipes to Valero. How sweet is that. For instance.
Valero/NS is not hard to understand with basice business skills. That St. James Rail Terminal main lines light sweet bakken crude to Valero LA. Rather than heavy crude by sea from S.A.
Light Sweet Bakken Spreads mmmmmmm.
Since the NYSE will now be Headquartered in Frankfort, Germany does that make the NYSE a Foreign Issurer of Foreign New Issues? Or even a Foreign Issuer on a Daily Basis based on Every Day is new day and a new set of shares, for all the Index 2x, and 3x ETF's. Like SSO or SDS every day with a new trading day is a whole new set of shares. The train leaves the station from a standsill and a whole new set of shares every trading day. Most of those ETF's are Headquartered in tax havens for reporting.
Inside the machine gun nests that guard the power plant. That is a good sign actually. That the government has taken them in. They need super pure water for that power plant, the power plant people win either way, they get super pure water, like in USA power plants, for steam from natural gas.
To super heat steam, in combined cycle nat gas plants they need super pure water. So they build the super pure water plant for El Presidente Power, who is going to protect CWCO offsite, when the government is El Presidente Power, and the criminals?
Cool Bali thing anyhow. Nice.
All the plants are up and running.
Good yeild on CWCO now that it is running smooth.
2% yield would be what $14 stock price? The Dividend is not going down.
AUQ brings new mines on stream. It has the cash. Phoenix, RBY, has begun to ramp up to production.
GG has to be sitting there wondering what to do about RBY. AUQ needs to move out of Mexico, and all it has is Kemess Underground to work on.Phoenix is the perfect match to Davidson for plant crushing and chemistry, all ramped up at Young Davidson, now ramp up Phoenix. Sort of a white knight deal against GG, 1980's junk bond style. Difference is cash, not junk bonds.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Great yield, good as it gets earnings for a utility. Needs to work on expanding it's core service areas. Which is what it is doing and it is working. So why the moppey price action.
If you think Tijuana is such a great place, why are all those rich Californians not flocking to Tijuana? San Diego, La Hoya, Encinitas are all expensive areas, why aren't all these cheap rich people communting, like the people in the East Desert burbs do? Why don't the East Desert Burb people move to Tijuana it would be a shorter commute almost.
Everyone acts like Tijuana is in the US. Do not make that mistake. Which is what the Mexicans in Mexico would tell you straight up.
Looked through all the Slim partnership companies. That is an extensive set of mining operations. So does Slim want to take over AUQ at these lower stock prices for Slim Mining. Or does he need it to take Slim Mining public? Or at least parts of it. Like Glencore/Xstrata. Slim/AUQ. Same timing area.
As AUQ partners they have had plenty of time to review the books to see AUQ is for real.
Do they push the stock price lower for cash looting later and buy it now for cash looting now. No one else is stepping up to the AUQ take over plate but Slim companies, right? AUQ buys Slim Mining or Slim Mining buys AUQ where are the other bidders is the basic No Denial question? So who is it? None is the answer. IAG and South African miners? Slim is the answer has it been 90 days quiet period yet?
