... "political pressure to approve eteplirsen may decrease."
Much of that pressure comes from the fact that there are no disease-altering treatments for DMD, so advocates have been pushing for approval of something, even though all of the late-stage treatments in the pipeline have less-than-clean trial data. PTC Therapeutics (NASDAQ:PTCT) went through a similar process when it filed twice before winning approval for its drug Translarna in Europe last year. It's still working on getting U.S. approval.
I8 is very cool. Turner Motorsports is modding them. Check insideevs for details.
With competition from BMW, VW, etc. I'm not sure the Model 3 will ever get built.
Wow, anytime there's this much emotion regarding a stock, I start thinking short the sucker.
How could you possibly think that with the losses that have been incurred?
... and with yet another secondary pending.
What the frell is in that Koolaid?
What is it?
It will never work.
Its already been done.
Just what Tesla needs is another direction.
You have ADD like Elon?
Sorry, couldnt resist.
Toyota is very prudent in seeing how well the Mirai does and limiting production. Toyota does not want to challenge Tesla in the area of who can lose the most money.
Remains to be seen how well fuel cell vehicles do, but I applaud Toyota for the efforts thus far.
Maybe, unless the horse is going lame. Billions in debt incurred by Musk the jockey is a big weight penalty for even the strongest.
He also thought Tesla would make a profit on 8000 cars. What keeps changing if he is always right.?Why is Tesla car sales slowing and debt skyrocketing?
Model X will do ok, not great but ok. Gen 3 is the question mark. I cant see how it can get anywhere near the market, or margins Tesla needs to survive, The current environment and increasing competition are making it unlikely the Gen 3 will succeed. Tesla has never been good at putting getting a vehicle out at the targeted price point.
He has promoted the heck out of Tesla, and successfully floated secondaries, received subsidies, and concessions which has allowed Tesla to survive. He has demonstrated that he is an incredible promoter.
Looking at the direction Tesla is going, with the debt and competition it will be facing, is Musk an asset or a liability going forward?
Works for Washington, ... why not for Tesla?
Musk is dragging Tesla down, they need to cut him loose before he digs the hole too deep to climb out of. EV sales are slowing and the Powerwall is almost laughable.
So, if 17% is under construction and that module is 75% done we have ~ a little over 12% of the envisioned gigafactory completed? ... must not be that bad a battery shortage.
Why strong buy? Lot of dilution, lot of risk here.
Probably as high as its going for awhile. Purchase requires loans and secondary offerings of over $1.6B
Probably down tomorrow.?
... and $750 million in senior unsecured notes wont be cheap either.
