The PE is 25. What's so "ridiculous" about that?
It's silly to halt trading to make this announcement, unless they're trying to get extra publicity for it.
No. DDD is just down because they're diluting their shares.
"No wonder no one can believe the media!!!" You just now figured that out? It was back in the 1992 presidential election I noticed the "news" is much more interested in entertainment than facts. The Today show called it a terrorist weapon not because they're biased, but because scarey words like terrorist make their show exciting to the sheeple with ADHD.
Time for the stock to reverse direction again.
What are you talking about? I just asked a simple question about interest rates and you interpret it to be a commentary on economic systems?
Thanks for the answer. I'm glad one person is here to actually contribute.
That's very interesting but doesn't answer my question about interest rates, does it?
Berkshire Hathaway has dozens of billions of dollars of "cash." What interest rate is it earning on this "cash?"
It would be funny if he suddenly became addicted to technology and bought a bunch of technology companies.
The stock market went down too. It's a general economic collapse, not a strengthening dollar.
This isn't a race between WEB and other rich men. It's a race between BRK and the S&P 500.
More like $10,000/share but gasoline will be $20/gallon.
First there was the one about the 3-D printed human skull. Now someone's printed the first 3-D printed dress. It's made from 17 pieces connected by 3000 joints. "Each of the 17 pieces is hollow, totaling in 11.5 pounds of material … a good 70 pounds lighter than the average Von Teese getup."
The future is in not mass producing anything!
"Oxford Performance Materials adapted EOS P800 printing technology to use a special polyetherketoneketone (PEKK) material that has proved suitable for human implants."
It's amazing all the different materials that are being printed by 3-D printers.
There's an article on yahoo and lifescience about scientists who used a 3-D printer to print out different knots to understand how knots behave in tubulence.
Yahoo is really sloppy with their numbers. Notices the earnings per share for the B shares is huge (what one would expect for the A shares).
I was reading a comment board like this one, but the topic was about how adult single men and women are supposed to find each other. One of the best comments was the Home Depot is a good place for women to hang out if they want to meet men who are handy around the house. Maybe Home Depot could find a way to capitalize off this?
