I do not believe it. From everything I've seen they ran out of money in April there is no way they can pay for any manufacturing. How many times now have they said they are beginning their production run? I know of at least 4. Apparently they had to find a new company , I assume because the old one wanted to be paid and they didn't have the money to pay them.
I have no idea why the continue to put out these press releases. Surely no on is going to buy their stock anymore.
you apparently don't understand the concept of corporate governance. That is NOT how officers in a well run company make their money at this stage of a company.
it's completely ridiculous to apply technical analysis to a stock at this level and I would suggest you do a lot more DD and figure out where they are going to get the money to stay in business for the rest of the year.
Not that I don't wish you were right but they've pretty much proven they have no idea how to get anything sold. I'm confused as to how they are still in business as far as I knew they should have been out of money in APR. Guess I'll have to wait for the SEC filing to see their current balance sheet. They don't have any revenues and they had no cash so I would have expected them to file bankruptcy already.
Yeah I read Siezmore's original article when he picked it for the best stock of 2015. Don't see that this article provides much information though.
LOL, Fellow shorts? I probably have far more long positions than you do. I'm not short. You keep expounding this idea that this isn't a growth stock but a div stock. Have you never seen a div stock stop paying divs? By "under PPS 2%" are you saying that after div your lifetime gains is 2% or are you trying to claim your averages share price is $7.20? I am here in an experiment to see if a message board can become actually useful with enough encouragement. Posting only positive messages when there are justifiable negative views isn't useful. I've known other like you who think they can ignore everything and just collect their divs to end up with a company that is out of business which for most means they''ve lost money even after divs. I'm curious , what has lead you to believe I am short?
yeah, I hadn't considered that they could end up short the new cos because of exercised rights. I would assume most ppl would short with puts rather than stock . Too much work to figure that out since I'm not short anyway.
You have to be kidding me. EVERY investment I have is doing better than PSEC.. I have 8k shrs at an avg cost of about $9 and 600 calls at various expirations. I've lost a ton on PSEC. I had another 5k shrs that I sold in Dec to get the tax loss. I'm still holding so obviously I'm counting on a turn around but to say that management is doing a great job at this point is ludicrous. They have been extremely arrogant on their conf call when asked questions by analyst and stockholders, refusing to answer some questions at all, cutting the conf short when the questions get tough. We still don't know what prices are involved in the spin offs or how well the CDOs are valued. It's probably my fault for not researching more but I'm not sure of the value in their class B real estate either. I see some signs of conf call shenanigans changing and I'm hoping tomorrows call goes better but we'll see. I'd like to know what your profit/loss (including divs) would be if you had to sell at todays prices. Are you REALLY doing that well at this price? Don't give me the "price doesn't matter because it pays a div" line either. That dividend isn't guaranteed..
This spin off isn't issuing any shares in the resulting companies so I don't see how anyone short PSEC would be short in any of the new cos. Are you saying that is wrong?
So you're saying PSEC expected capital losses when they bought/created the CLOs and are happy just to have collected the interest while they held them? Are you also saying capital losses don't effect the div? Just trying to clarify what you really mean here because on the surface your comments seem a little strange.
not sure what psec_brilliant said since I have him on ignore but... this sort of name calling isn't gaining you any anything other than a reputation for emotional outbursts. How did you determine he/she is racist? That's a strange term to throw around on a stock message board.
you do realize it is only a 13% div if you bought it at the current price? I doubt very much that is it actually 13% for you. Not sure why I'm bothering to point this out since you are obviously just trying dis the shorts but I doubt they pay a lot of attention to you since you make statements like this that are obviously false and undermine your credibility. It's still a good dividend but you should make an accurate statement if you're going to try and undermine the shorts. I suspect it is more like an 11% or so div for you unless you are a short time holder.
I seriously doubt there is anyone who using the internet who doesn't go to the company website first if they are trying to do any research. To just repeat this sort of information that is easily available elsewhere and useless without further research is a waste of time. If someone wants to convey that sort of information then they should just post a link to it instead of repeating the information.
And how would you know any of this? Are you providing illegal inside information? How you call a stock that loses 30% of its PPS and cuts it's div by a similar amount is beyond me. I call it a very aggravating stock. Tired of hearing the price dropped blamed on manipulators. The negative press has cause some of the price drop but it was the div cut that started it and the spin off that accelerated it not the so call manipulators.
What's the point of this post? That info is available elsewhere. Do you have some information to share regarding why these were good investments?
