The chance of failure was much higher than success, and failure would have made Mr. Obama a one-term president with almost certainty. Obama took very little political risk whatsoever, not revealing the OBL hit operation until it was a done deal. And he absolutely milked it during his campaign, proving my point quite neatly, notwithstanding he had little or nothing to do with the operation. If he wants to claim responsibility for military operations it's time he finally took responsibility for the Benghazi disaster.
