Boar, I've got to say I noticed the same thing. Cost does seem to be pushing this organic thing a little too far. I can understand choices, and if you want to pay higher prices for organic things, then go ahead. What I noticed is that much of this organic stuff is not put on the shelf as competition to a standard product. The standard item is often removed and leaving the customer to pick the higher cost organic product or nothing at all. Its kind of irritating. Especially when you pay that annual fee to be a member and save on what you by. I personally think COST is overdoing this.
Sorry Mickey. Just referring to the drop in share price lately. Couple bucks in last five days alone. Its getting 'rocked' by something. Maybe HCP can patch it up. I'm going to have to double down on this stock to shave my losses, but won't do that until I can see some positive activity. Good luck investing.
All I can say, based on the latest news reported by HCP, you've got to have a lot more guts than me to be buying this stock. I have to hear something more positive coming from HCP before I'd even consider buying more shares. Their major investments are being rocked by claims of medicare fraud and their Four Seasons investment is losing money supposedly due to higher than normal patient deaths last winter. Does'nt sound good to me.
Kbonse, if you don't care where the price is, then the conversation is over. You deserve what you get. PMT management is being outperformed by its peers whether you like it or not. If you like the stock, you can keep the stock. Good luck investing.
Kbonse, over 7 million shares were sold over the last four trading days at an average discount of over 10%. Normal trading volume is around 400,000 shares. Do you think those shares got dumped because traders were bored and decided they'd sell some stock? Or do you think that maybe it was because PMT reported miserable earnings? Sir, that's the bottom line. And you say I'm whining? Don't you feel management has any accountability? You have a nice day.
Kbonse, quarterly revenue growth (yoy) for PMT is -0.41. Quarterly revenue growth (yoy) for the industry is +0.11. PMT's competitors are putting them to shame. So, yes. I do expect growth from PMT. I would think any other PMT shareholder would feel the same way. Don't you?
Hawkeye, put your life savings into this stock. The dividend is fantastic. No better time than now to back up the truck. Right?
