Jongeol, all REIT related stocks are currently under pressure due to the FED's intent to raise rates and their share price reflects that. However, that does'nt change the facts regarding HCP's problems. Good luck investing.
There is no loss if you did'nt own shares prior to your purchase. Look. All stocks go up and down and a prudent investor will ideally buy the dips. However, you have to look at why a stock takes a drop. If you don't see anything alarming, then fine. Buy the dip. But if you discover that a stock is dropping because of negative news, such as class action lawsuits indicating mismanagement of money or false billing practice, well, that's something to be concerned about. HCP is looking down the barrel of those accusations now and that has led to its current decline in share value. So be careful. Wait for something to clear the air and don't jump on this stock until you are sure its safe. Good luck investing.
Sorry to convey the bad news. 3.7 million shares traded yesterday and down around $1.15. Will be going even lower today. Blood is in the water.
Boar, I've got to say I noticed the same thing. Cost does seem to be pushing this organic thing a little too far. I can understand choices, and if you want to pay higher prices for organic things, then go ahead. What I noticed is that much of this organic stuff is not put on the shelf as competition to a standard product. The standard item is often removed and leaving the customer to pick the higher cost organic product or nothing at all. Its kind of irritating. Especially when you pay that annual fee to be a member and save on what you by. I personally think COST is overdoing this.
Sorry Mickey. Just referring to the drop in share price lately. Couple bucks in last five days alone. Its getting 'rocked' by something. Maybe HCP can patch it up. I'm going to have to double down on this stock to shave my losses, but won't do that until I can see some positive activity. Good luck investing.
All I can say, based on the latest news reported by HCP, you've got to have a lot more guts than me to be buying this stock. I have to hear something more positive coming from HCP before I'd even consider buying more shares. Their major investments are being rocked by claims of medicare fraud and their Four Seasons investment is losing money supposedly due to higher than normal patient deaths last winter. Does'nt sound good to me.
Kbonse, if you don't care where the price is, then the conversation is over. You deserve what you get. PMT management is being outperformed by its peers whether you like it or not. If you like the stock, you can keep the stock. Good luck investing.
