bouncing right off the 100/ 20 day SMA numbers. I like starting a position here. Will average down if it makes it to the 50 day SMA at .21, but I highly doubt it unless there is a dive in the markets tomorrow to give markets a time to selloff. Many things in the works here. Good luck all.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
hey, this thing deserves pumping. Phase 3 tests are a done deal and this thing will be making money in Europe soon followed closely by the US. Not to mention the 7 dollar price target given today by JPMorgan Chase. Basically just restating PRs from official news stories is what John is doing with a little much warranted excitement. This thing closed up 10% and ran over 30% today. A ton of profit takers in this taking 30 or more % only to buy back lower for yet another run tomorrow even higher as is stated by John. Wait and see. Then see who the pumpers are :).
I think the appropriate investor of this caliber would be Buffet who owns Fruit of the Loom. I am sure that American Apparel takes a fair amount of market share from FotL.
Do people read and believe you? http://investors.splunk.com/results.cfm Whoever comes to read this info should listen to the last quarter call on 5/29. You can listen to it on their site if you would like to listen. It is important that you understand what you are buying into. Splunk is amazing and there is no way that SPLK will ever see 20. Yahoo message boards are just awful! Go do yourself a favor and listen to the call. They are growing rapidly.
ok... lets say you started a company and it has made you a lot of money. A LOT OF MONEY. You own 509,690 shares of that company at roughly 45 dollars a share. You want to take some of that money for your own personal use and buy yourself a well deserved doohickie of your choice. What do you do? Fact.... Godfrey owned 509,690 shares and now owns 469,690 shares. He sold 40,000 shares at roughly 45 dollars for a nice treat of 1.8 MILLION STINKING DOLLARS .... Don't be jealous. Fact.... He is still the majority shareholder in the company and the company still owns 30% of the shares. So what if he sold 8% of his shares? #$%$, I would too. How else is he going to buy that big assed boat hes always wanted? Now him and Larry Ellison can sit off the coast of Monaco in international waters together smoking those fat Cuban cigars (although Larrys boat is MUCH MUCH MUCH BIGGER). Godfrey is very optimistic about a company that is profoundly changing forever the way we look at data.
To get an idea of how quickly Splunk is and will grow, go to their website and click on the customers link at the top of the page. Just the HIPPA compliance usage in Hospitals will attribute to a massive growth in big data analytics in the next few years. Splunk is just getting going my friends. 53% rev growth last quarter is slowed growth. Think about that... 50% revenue growth per quarter is slowed revenue growth. That is pretty amazing. They will continue to grow at a rapid clip. Splunk has over 7,000 customers of different sizes, and is growing that number rapidly the World over. There is this argument of why not just use open source, free software. To answer that, I ask another question... Why doesn't every one just use Linux for free instead of using Windows? The money that is brought in aids in R and D and creates a much superior product with phone support, customer training, development assistance, etc. You ever read about big data? This is only going to get bigger. I could write a book on how amazing Splunk is. All you got is "what does this company do?" Best do your homework if you are short in this.
The only people that sold today for the most part were panic sellers and short sellers. Shorts will cover next week and new buyers will buy in low. This is a pretty awesome price. Might go a bit lower, but that will just entice more buyers. Will be difficult to push lower.
Are Yahoo message boards for anything more than comedic relief? You all are silly.
not really sure I understand this. Insiders currently hold 35 Million shares. A very small portion was sold recently perhaps to buy a yacht, handle tax obligations, buy a nice new home, etc. They own a hole lot of the stock. Please give color on this comment. Thanks.
shorts pushing this down on an overall red day with limited volume and a bit of #$%$ talking has done well. Opened a little over .20 and down to .185. 10% is a great move for the high frequency shorts. Bet you wont hold into close. How low can you take this?
lets do the math. at .10, that would put the market cap at 45ish million dollars. How much do you think this company is worth? Is this a pump and dump scam? Please give color on your comments. I am long at this point and I feel very positive that the 80 million current market cap is cheap. It seems as though there are so many people on this Yahoo board just bantering back and forth not knowing what the heck they are talking of. What is Liquid Metal Technologies and what do they do? Mr. Gay Tan, please tell us. Snake eyes? Your help is desired to make me understand your comments. Thanks
What? next Beats? Come on now. LQMT is good stuff, but it wont be bought out by Apple and they dont make headphones. Not sure what you are talking about. These yahoo boards are border line dumb as hell.
Apples big media event, WWDC, is on Monday. Any whiff of LQMT there and this should rocket. Keep in mind, there is no revenue garnered from the relationship. It will only be World Wide exposure to the substance .
