And re-shorted APA. So I am positioned for a sell off in my opinion. My most heavily weighted is BBRy which will not go down for anything so I am good. VXX was just costing money from contango to yield to margin. Definitely not worth it.
Jen good luck with that long VXX, I hope it doubles for you. I would NEVER want to be long and know I have feel I have equal exposure to some market downside with out VXX. -
Yes my trade was not timed to the market that is for sure. I needed to free up some cash and I shorted Apple and bought BBRY....much better rate of return..and seems instantaneous.. ;) we will see.

I finally dumped it. $18.66. All gone and good riddens. I sold a lot of tops and bought a lot of bottoms and when it was all said and done my return for over 6 months was less than half a percent. A completely fruitless exercise with over $20M traded. If that is not a good lesson, nothin is! Sayonara!

It is so very sad that money is wasted on these guys and their opinions when so much more smarter people are actually starving. Its the only thing that makes me sick about capitalism. At least I know Karma wins in the end and these guys will develop horrible cancers and life problems. I pray for you Cannaccord.
You would think common sense by regarding the charts would help these fellas see whats really going on. So when it is $20 does a 200% wrong call mean they were wrong or just bad timing and they still reiterate the $9. It is funny to watch. Yawn.
Probably tell you to buy Apple here too. I am short and going to pay the $3 dividend to some lucky sole hehe. No problem. -
Yes I did re add that again at 450. Saved a little bit of loss hehe, a few bucks. Or maybe just added more depending! ;)

I am not saying it wouldn't work. knowing how gullible the population and even governing heads are, I would not doubt it haha.

I covered at $67.90, $68.90 and $69.90 most of them and held 2000. That was also my second round after the reshorts at $76. I forget all teh trades and do not feel like going back but APA put 170k in my pocket and possibly still counting.
I am building the short again as we speak. Only 4k right now. I would call that right... -

Oh my dear my dear. VXX stands its highest probability to reverse today and go green than in two weeks. When will the poor girl learn... Just relax and make time work for you not try the other way around... Time is the variable I care about the most with all my trades...

I equally remember Apple when I shorted it at $550 and covered at $425. When it bounced in the $470's there were calls again to go back to $1000 haha. It eventually fell and I pulled a nice take because I was so concentrated. That is how I started 2013.
I expect Apache to do the same and you will be hiding under a rock hehe with little to say or understand. It's sad to see this time in and time out. -
That is a good point and APA is my only short. I feel it is better than putting it on a SPY puts or what have you for the correction. APA will correct more than any other. Who knows though. I will take a $76 today if I get it. I have been patient.

Now the real trick will be if my portfolio is cruising on a +150 point day and my VXX goes green. I definitely do not think I would feel stupid. Would you? If I were you I think I would. ;) You''ll figure it out someday son.

You do notice now that the DOW is up 2000 points and APA is actually lower right? I can not trade in the minute like you do, I just let time make money for me. I am just a simple guy.

Im taking $75.20 if I get it. This would be wonderful. Still underperforming rest of market and similar companies. So when things change it should be pretty nasty...
