with the testing going on at the private school in MA and at The New Orleans Univ site, what better way to prove TLPS and be part of e-rate.
From Motley Fool article:
" I reached out to Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ: CLNE ) , the country's largest seller of natural gas for transportation, to get some idea of how the law will impact the company. Clean Energy delivered 192.7 million gallon-equivalents of natural gas in the first nine months of the year, putting it on track to deliver some 250 million GGEs for all of 2014.
According to Clean Energy investor relations, the company expects to receive approximately $25 million-$28 million in credits for 2014, which it will recognize in the fourth quarter. That's a significant amount of money the company essentially "fronted" to refueling customers, with the expectations that VETC would be reinstated. "
Add the $ 40 mil sale of the plant, and $ 68 mil added to y/e numbers.
Doesn't CLNE handling the fueling here:
January 9, 2015: (TSX: NFI) (TSX: NFI.DB.U) New Flyer Industries Inc. (“New Flyer” or the “Company”), the leading manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses in the United States and Canada, announced today that Orange County Transportation Authority (“OCTA”) awarded New Flyer a contract in December 2014, for up to 212 compressed natural gas (CNG) 40-foot heavy-duty Xcelsior® buses.
Testing at The University of New Orleans frequency 2473-2495.
I think this deal bodes well by using local and connected builder.
MCM Construction, Clean Energy Announce Collaboration to Bring CNG
$20 mil deal.
don't forget the $ 35 mil bond debt on the plant that CLNE is no longer responsible, but was carrying on the books..(DCEMB Revenue Bonds)
This is a $ 75 mil swing. ( $ 35 + $ 13.6 mil less debt and $ 27 mil in cash remaining) to the betterment of clne balance sheet.
Looks like they paid off $ 13.7 mil of debt with the $ 40 mil from proceeds
Probably use the rest for year end bonuses ....lol (teach)
