Have a great weekend, Smoidalon. Hopefully, we get a few price swings in the coming week and we make a few bucks. I'm still holding a 8.44 position to exit at around 8.70. Willing to see a dip to the 8.20 range or lower next week to reload also. GLTA
China markets are closed for the next couple of days so we won't have that to deal with. I think investors are still a little jumpy and we could see another drop...still like the opportunity to reload again. Don't think I want to be a buyer above 8.50 right now. Need to see where the market is headed,
Filled at 8.23. Didn't hold out for the bottom. Now for a bounce back to 8.50.
Buy order today for 8.20...if it fills, great but if not we'll wait to buy another day. Agreed that the uncertainty in China makes it tough to commit much to money to the US market right now. And the yoyo swings on oil aren't helping. GLTA
I wonder if the Toll quarterly report has investors a little jumpy about the housing market. It looks like the momentum turned on a dime with that miss.
Also reloaded at 8.16...willing to continue to buy if we keep dropping and wait for the rebound. Still lovin SPF and the fundamentals. Is this a great country or what! GLTA
Reloaded today at 8.44. Looking for a small rebound by end of the week into next week for housing. Still long and lovin SPF. Good fundamentals and strong markets for housing. Short term interest rates still look positive for home buyers.
I'm also waiting to see where the bottom finally settles before jumping back in. I think there may still be some downside. Have a great weekend, Smoidalon.
Sold a 8.70 and 8.80 position this morning at 8.99. Now time for another dip and chance to reload again. Still long and lovin SPF. Isn't this a great country!
In at 8.52 and out at 8.75...all in a day's time. It doesn't get any better than that. Isn't this a great country!
Got another sell order in today...hopefully the market bumps up above 8.80 before close. Smoidalon, good luck with those shares. Isn't this a great country!
Doesn't matter if the correction is over or not, as long as you are willing to buy on the way down and sell on the rally. You just have to believe in the future of SPF over the coming year. Our friend from California and I have been doing it for several years with SPF and managing a very good return. GLTA
Love the opportunities to keep buying on the dips. Reminds me of about a year ago, when we could keep selling those positions on the way back up. Still love the fundamentals and the markets. Isn't this a great country!
