LOL, no tears and I'm been around long enough to remember you selling, good you put it into something that is making money. Why is this the only place you post though? Just curious if you are investing and/or trading other stocks, do you use another id on their MBs? By the way your so called "off topics" posts by that parent POS, do not bother me and I agree with what you post often, but I cannot understand why you always have to talk negative about this company....
purchased swhc on the 2nd, sold it today for3% gain, not a lot to brag about but I made a little cash while Libertee/illorac sits on the sidelines wondering about contracts with the military...without a dividend no reason to hold this for too long and although I believe it is a pretty good company, I'd rather just keep getting in and out than wait hoping for a big run up....still have a lot of underwater rgr, but at least I get a divy from them. I'll be looking to buy again when she takes the next drop.
I don't agree with 99% of what you write, but do agree with what you posted here except the last question...the answer is in what you wrote first, the saudi's want to hurt those countries you mention in particular russia and iran, this is not about fracking or supply and demand, it is pure political.
you lang and lies all the time are still showing your ignorance of the "Cloud", it still has to reside on physical hw somewhere....and HP uses OpenStack sw not autonomy for their "cloud"...
did I really type that? Yes I did, the incessant "bump" posts are more annoying than the idiot patton, at least he is somewhat humorous with his dumb posts....and of course the newest one is an id that was just invented...
Maybe you just need to use google before you post misleading opinions....
Here is part of another article that mentions the RFP's being accepted in January...
NEW YORK — The U.S. Army is seeking a new gun.
After about 30 years of using the Beretta as the primary sidearm pistol for the U.S. military, the Pentagon is seeking a new gun contract.
For gun manufacturers, this kind of a contract is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
While the Beretta lasted three decades, the U.S. military’s first semiautomatic standard-issue sidearm, the M1911 from Colt, lasted nearly 90 years. It was issued during the U.S. war in the Philippines through the World Wars to Vietnam and beyond.
No wonder manufacturers are already starting to line up. An Army spokesman told CNNMoney that a request for proposal for a new standard-issue sidearm is going out in January.
Smith & Wesson and General Dynamics have announced that they are entering the M&P, a popular pistol, into the competition.
Beretta told CNNMoney that it too is entering the contest.
you are either the lying troll some believe you to be or you don't pay attention much...quote from a news story when they announced the partnering with GD, "The Army is likely to start the competition in Jan 2015. Delivery of the first batch of the new Modular Handgun Systems is slated for 2017."
ktumle and any other legitimate rgr poster, fyi check out the message history of idpatton and you will probably realize it is a troll that usually haunts the vlo and other oil stocks message boards, it ruined the vlo message board enough that 90% or more of the poster actually joined a private group to be able to discuss the stock without its constant bs posts, it does not have any stock of rgr and does nothing but post lies usually about its shorts, changing its tune here pretending to be long...do yourself a favor and place on ignore...or not your choice.
OK PFSL, Your question, “How many, and what types firearms does one need to protect himself from civil unrest and from the President?”
My response:”punk answer! if you can post the "smart laws" bs then you should be able to answer the question! How about answering your own question? “(this is a paraphrase of your question)”How many guns do you think a person needs? The 2nd amendment says I have the right to bare arms that "s" means as many as I want.”
No need to reread the question multiple times, I answered that I can have as many as I want, as far as the types, you don’t need to know that, you are just fishing for more info to post bs about instead of answering your own question, unless your answer was that you don’t need any, because you are not “insecure” well I’m not insecure either, and I’m definitely not dumb, I, like one of the other posters live in the country and need to protect my livestock from predators both two and four legged.
You do nothing but try to cause controversy on this message board, never an original post about the stock or company, you’re just trying to get someone to respond to you, by responding to others in a way that will ruffle a lot of the regular posters feathers, in other words you are just as somebody else once posted, I believe, the classic message board troll!
punk answer! if you can post the "smart laws" bs then you should be able to answer the question! How about answering your own question? How many guns do you think a person needs? The 2nd amendment says I have the right to bare arms that "s" means as many as I want.
brand new id created just today....will have to think about whether you get an invite for awhile....you can send me an email and explain if you'd like.
again, you would only punish the good guys, no way can one government enforce a cradle to grave when firearms are mfg all over the world and can easily be smuggled in just like anything else including drugs....how much time, effort, money has been wasted on that? I would agree that any stolen or lost firearm should be reported immediately but more so to just cover the owners #$%$, don't see that as stopping the illegal ownership, transfer in any way and I do not believe in background checks for private sells.
