Even though it may have merit, it seems far removed from their core competence.
Is there any other company in China that would be a more suitable choice?
Search Web for "Montmorillonite in China"
There're big deposits in Tibet and Inner Mongolia with many suppliers.
Can HERB even find enough miners near Sodaville "ghost town" in Nevada?
See photo images on Web.
Yasheng's approx. 122 sq mi is less than 0.1% of the Province's over 175,000
but is probably more than 3% of its arable land.
Of its construction plans listed on pages 45-46 of the 2013 10-k, I like the comprehensive exploitation project of 400,000 acres of pasture best followed by the potato project. The capital needed for these and the others seems quite beyond Yasheng's capacity however.
If I controlled billions, I'd definitely consider investing in practical, profitable projects to help Gansu's
people and enrich their economy. That opportunity appears to have been thwarted by Wall Street's
Manipulators for the foreseeable future in favor of their own selfish agenda for equity markets.
From where does the money come to support the Red office if not China?

Improve matters by closing it! Sell the 81 acres in the Mojave Desert and the
Arizona mining claims.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Last year, the 10-K filing was on 9-12.

600108.SS closed up Monday at 6.55 yuan on 45 million share-volume. If nothing is done about HERB's
apparent fraud, will it make you skeptical about all of China's State-Owned Enterprises?
How many shares of Gansu Yasheng are there? Float?
Some of the crops and their yields are also mentioned but not wholesale prices.
Do you think American farmers could generate a billion USD in revenue from 78,000 acres?
