So you wouldn't expect the price of hops in China to be soaring either.
(from 10-K) Tiaoshan Jialv Hops Co., Ltd., was founded in 1982 and for the next 20 years or so mainly
engaged in the production of hops. From 1989 to 2001, revenues increased due to a rising market
and product quality. From 2002 to 2004, it started to lose market share and customers to other farms
in the west due to poor hops quality. In 2006, we began to shift our production from small collective farms
to large scale field industrial cultivation.

nutrition difference? (wiseGEEK)
beyond the color, there is no difference between chicken eggs of different colors. White and brown eggs are nutritionally identical, and they are physically identical on the inside.
The color of chicken eggs is determined by materials which are deposited while the eggs develop inside the hen's oviduct. Some chickens deposit white pigments, while others deposit brown pigments, and some chicken breeds like the Aracauna and Americauna lay blue to green eggs. The original predecessor of the chicken, the Red Junglefowl, lays cream-colored eggs. Different egg colors appear to have developed over the course of centuries of breeding.
Both white and brown eggs contain a yolk and a white, each enclosed by a protective envelope, along with a tough outer membrane between the white and the shell, and two chalazae to keep the yolk anchored in the egg during fetal development.
In fresh eggs, the string-like chalazae are clearly visible and well-formed. More nutritious eggs have darker yolks, reflecting a greater concentration of vitamins and minerals.
white versus brown eggs?
The color difference is due to the specific breed of hen, according to the Egg Nutrition Center. Hens with white feathers and white earlobes generally lay white eggs, whereas hens with red feathers and matching-colored earlobes usually lay brown eggs. However, there are exceptions. The color really depends upon the pigments that are deposited on the egg as it makes its way through the oviduct.
The most common breeds of chickens used for egg-laying are the White Leghorn, the Rhode Island Red, and the New Hampshire. White Leghorn chickens are white and lay white eggs. Rhode Island Red and New Hampshire chickens are reddish brown and lay brown or brown-speckled eggs.
Brown eggs may be more expensive because the chickens that lay them eat more than those that lay white eggs." Among the breeds that lay brown eggs are the Rhode Island Red, the New Hampshire and the Plymouth Rock -- all larger birds that require more food.
As a result of global climate change, expected by 2020, an uptrend is expected of temperature and rainfall. Precipitation across the province shows a consistent increasing trend, which should increase by 0.82% ~ 7.63%, among which Jiuquan in the eastern part of the Gansu Province experiences more obvious increase in precipitation with an increase of 6% ~ 7.63%.
Temperature in all parts of Gansu Province will be higher. The increased rate of the temperature is increasing slightly from east to west. Temperature increase range is between 0.68 degrees and 0.95 degrees. The temperature increase in the western region of Gansu Province is slightly higher than that in the other parts. We believe that the special climate change will be more conducive to the needs of agriculture illumination, temperature, and humidity.

is the fourth largest desert in China, which covers an area of about 36,700 square kilometers
and is mostly situated within the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China and joins the border
of Ningxia at Zhongwei City. The narrowest part of the desert is only a little over 20 kilometers.
is stopped at Shapotou by the Yellow river, producing a huge sand dune. The slope is 300m long
and rises to about 100 meters high.
There are about 180 large and small lakes, grassland, oasis, Mongolian and Hui minority villages,
Han nationality villages, and it has a well-built desert highway-Baolan railway, China's first railroad passing through deserts. Moreover it is a strategic east-west lifeline, cutting through the southern border of Tengger desert at Shapotou. The railway has been operating smoothly for about 50 years thanks to the desert control program. The Shapotou Desert Research Station has developed an effective method to contain the desert
by planting straw grids on the dunes. View Images on Web.
The Sodaville deposit ... is the eastern end of the Excelsior Mountains and a little over 2 km west of Sodaville, Mineral County. Bentonite from this deposit was shipped to California during the late 1920's and early 1930's for use in drilling mud and for sealing portions of the Owens Valley aqueduct.
The oldest rocks are rhyolitic tuffs, tuff-breccias, and andesitic flows of Miocene or Pliocene age. Andesitic flows unconformably overlie the rhyolitic rocks. The bentonite was formed by hydrothermal solutions that moved through a major faulted and brecciated zone in the rhyolite volcanic rocks and was partly trapped by the andesitic flows. As a result, two types of bentonite are present. The first type is a very pale orange to almost white bentonite derived from the rhyolite volcanic rocks, and the second type is reddish-brown bentonite derived from the lower part of the andesitic flows. Varying amounts of quartz, cristobalite, and potassium feldspar are present. The physical properties of the bentonite are variable, but one sample shows superior swelling and viscosity properties. A two-meter-tall monument marking the country's geographical center (103.23 degrees east longitude and 35.33 degrees north latitude) named "Center of the Country" is in Gansu province.
In the middle of the monument are 56 pillars symbolizing the nation's 56 ethnic minorities. In the lower part, upholding a map of China, are pillars representing the nation's 34 municipalities and provinces and autonomous regions. Yasheng's approx. 122 sq mi is less than 0.1% of the Province's over 175,000
but is probably more than 3% of its arable land.
Of its construction plans listed on pages 45-46 of the 2013 10-k, I like the comprehensive exploitation project of 400,000 acres of pasture best followed by the potato project. The capital needed for these and the others seems quite beyond Yasheng's capacity however.
If I controlled billions, I'd definitely consider investing in practical, profitable projects to help Gansu's
people and enrich their economy. That opportunity appears to have been thwarted by Wall Street's
Manipulators for the foreseeable future in favor of their own selfish agenda for equity markets.
