my hope is for activist investor to take company to next levels and for elimination of sanderling/middleton. keeping an eye on sec filings.
very heavy volume suggests something is up. capital raise is possibility. ownership change is another possibility. with the right owner and management i will be averaging up in a big way. am watching sec filings.
The product is exceptional. We need leadership with sense of urgency and contagious exhuberance to take company to the next level.
Westmead Hospital (Australia) - Aug, 2015 "The Niobe system has long demonstrated an enhanced safety profile in comparison to conventional ablations, but its efficacy with lesion creation in highly mobile cardiac regions has not been adequately studied," said Pramesh Kovoor, M.D., Ph.D., Director of Cardiac Services at Westmead Hospital and Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. "We were pleasantly surprised with the results of our research, which provided strong evidence of faster, deeper lesion formation utilizing the Niobe system, due to constant catheter contact in the presence of simulated heart wall motion. As a practitioner, this translates into the potential for more precise, effective ablations in unstable regions of the heart, which could lead to improved patient outcomes and shorter procedure times."
Handler, CEO of CVRS, is hands on salesman with sense of urgency from GE who attended their Jack Welch leadership institute. Welch is known for the highest standards and for emphasizing performance and sense of urgency and for terminating those who do not meet these standards.
roth is blanking shareholders with management and BoD acting as pimps. another example is xgti - offering included a, b, c, and d warrants.
My brokers were able to accept tender instructions today. It was as simple as giving instructions over the phone to sell stock. Obviously this is conditional on 50% + 1 share being tendered.
Erasmus Medical Center Findings: On several clinical endpoints -- acute success, major complications and recurrence rate using an intention-to-treat analysis -- the use of Stereotaxis technology provided better results than both CF and manual approaches."
A total of 239 patients who underwent VT ablation with CF catheters, other manual catheters or the Stereotaxis Niobe(R) remote magnetic navigation system were included in this single-center, cohort study from January 2007 until March 2014. The highest acute procedural success -- 86% -- was achieved in the patient group using the Niobe system, compared to a success rate of 71% for the CF and manual groups. Major complications occurred in 1.2% of Niobe patients versus 10% of CF patients and 2.7% of manual patients. Moreover, the recurrence rate was lowest in the Niobe group, which had the most rigorous follow-up time of 29 months compared to 18 and 25 months for the CF and manual groups, respectively. Overall, 42% of Niobe patients had a recurrence during follow-up, versus 59% of CF patients and 57% of manual patients. Complete study results can be accessed online in the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology (DOI: 10.1111/jce.12762, 2015).
from STXS website: over 80k procedures. Clinical benefits
Improved long-term patient clinical outcomes (complex left atrial [CLA] arrhythmia, ventricular tachycardia [VT], and congenital heart disease treatment)
Procedural efficiency through reduced treatment times and improved patient workflow
Excellent patient safety (through decreased procedure related complication rates)
Reduced long-term cancer risks by lowering X-ray fluoroscopic radiation for physicians, laboratory staff and patients (especially for the vulnerable pediatric population)
thanks. i am convinced we need change and that management is not up to the task. i am actively working to implement change - failure is not an option.
