i'm impressed! how do you determine who owns the alias? for example TFOA and Algohacker are like day and night. How do you go about determining that they are the same person?
agree on end game. imo Mills doesnt have drive to bring it over the goal line. we need someone who can establish a very high sales bar and who has the drive and contagious enthusiasm that will permeate the sales force and their clients.
Respectfully: Insiders and 5% fund owners own 27% of company (pg 33 of proxy - do not double count Sanderling holdings). Most of shares are owned by poor boys like us who meet down on the corner. Agree that insiders like Mills - he is an improvement from disastrous earlier mgmt. He is articulate and wears a suit well. But he is far from an overachiever - accepting mediocre results when STXS can soar under the right management - one that is both highly motivated and highly motivating. Triple digit sales growth is possible.
Sr Management and BoD may not have choice as they own minority of co - they engage in the satisfaction of collective groupthink. Others can do better job of running company - there may even be several gems at lower levels.
not eoy. longer term unfilled gap in the $20s. timing will depend on management savvy and enthusiasm - establishing and surpassing aggressive sales targets. imo new team is needed - one that has track record.
Accelerating sales are possible. Profits are possible - and soon. The leaders I know set the bar much higher, grow much quicker, exhibit contagious enthusiasm which permeates the company, spend much of their time winning over customers. eat ramen noodles instead of drawing high salaries if company is losing money, and buy stock like crazy when price drops.
If you can't do it, others will.
the move to the bottom and then off the bottom was very dramatic. it makes you wonder whether it can surpise on the upside. if it does i think the driver would be major mideast instability.. for example unforseen consequences in iran or isis move in saudi
wouldnt it be great to have a leader with track record of growing companies, empowering all stakeholders, and then selling them for 10X-200X per share before his entry, including a company he merged into ISRG and who is former director of ISRG?
my hope is for activist investor to take company to next levels and for elimination of sanderling/middleton. keeping an eye on sec filings.
very heavy volume suggests something is up. capital raise is possibility. ownership change is another possibility. with the right owner and management i will be averaging up in a big way. am watching sec filings.
The product is exceptional. We need leadership with sense of urgency and contagious exhuberance to take company to the next level.
Westmead Hospital (Australia) - Aug, 2015 "The Niobe system has long demonstrated an enhanced safety profile in comparison to conventional ablations, but its efficacy with lesion creation in highly mobile cardiac regions has not been adequately studied," said Pramesh Kovoor, M.D., Ph.D., Director of Cardiac Services at Westmead Hospital and Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. "We were pleasantly surprised with the results of our research, which provided strong evidence of faster, deeper lesion formation utilizing the Niobe system, due to constant catheter contact in the presence of simulated heart wall motion. As a practitioner, this translates into the potential for more precise, effective ablations in unstable regions of the heart, which could lead to improved patient outcomes and shorter procedure times."
