It's an average of many dates throughout this process. it is not just the final price. I have no fear in getting much less than $18 since GTECH has been above the sweet spot for a while before declining with the rest of Europe.

The price IGT shareholders will realize has to do with mutiple closing prices throughout the buy out period and it is indicative of today's closing price or at the final closing date. it is an average throughout the months. So even if the price GTECH is falling some because of the weak Eruo economy it doesn't mean we will get paid much lower than 18.25. So if I get $18.00 or 417.85 instead of $18.25 I am stil a happy share owner as I am picking up stock here after hours for distressed prices. Hope it goes down to 16/share after hours. panis sellers gotta love em.

  • Annualized that is 10 1/4% + the dividend we pick up next week of 11¢ and anymore dividends if any we might pick up before we close in July 2015. Not bad for an investment.

They all dry up when there is no more "scare" level left in the stock. They were charlatans to begin with.

Looks like someone is getting out or someone is shorting the stock. Can't think of any other thing it could be.
It's amazing that someone thinks the business isn't worth much.
Looks good as a buyout candidate for someone like Gtech.
I liked the conference call saying we are expanding in McDonald's, that could be a ton of installs and accessories.

I just got done listening to the dismal conference all, every minute of it. Sounds like those opportunities they submitted are gone but the consulting company is still on board searching for more ways to increase our share hold value. Maybe LAKES should concentrate on not losing anymore money first or having to write down assets, yea no cash loss but sure makes a different in BV.
Also do you really think we will see the 60 million from the Jamul or Penn National. I don't. They already wrote it off and now this becomes the last glimmer of hope the company has? Really it's like clinging on to a thread as someone is filling your pockets with lead. For me investing in LACO has been a slow death, not now but even 20 years ago when they said that $20/share for their stock was undervalued. They always seem to find a new way to lose money. Sorry sounds like sour grapes, yes it is. We don't draw the big salaries they do. I could draw 1/2 as much salary and do the same #$%$ job.
I am not short this stock in case you are wondering but would have been rich if I did so 2 days ago.

Shorts won't be able to cover fast enough, will be interesting. Very seldom do I ever put a strong buy on anything.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • Just 10¢ a quarter would be approximately a 5% yield and would certainly get the stock to about $10/share pretty fast. While we flounder here at the $8 mark looking for ways to increase shareholder value, this looks like the only way for now and we can easily afford paying the dividend till a white knight appears.

    Sentiment: Hold
