2 years ago, when your "stellar" market calls began , the DOW was at 12,096. Today it's 15,746 - an all time high - yet you claim we're not in a bull market.. Is this some kind of reverse correction then lol?
it's NOT a bull market lol..ooookay, what do you call when we've broken highs on the averages a few times in the last couple of weeks....ANYONE can make money in a bull market.....you have to beat your PEERS, not me. and like i said, i have nothing to prove. I'm retired , and not looking for a following to make money off of, like you. So what's in it for me? Are you going to quit hyping stocks and give up your profession if I beat you? Yes or no. If yes, then I'll take the bet. If not, why am I bothering with a guy who has been investing for two years - in a bull market.
frist, let me say i was one of the erroneous "likes" on this post so count it as 2 likes and 1 thumbs down..i never accused SM of having "a fake job"..where do u see tat a-gasparyan?and you're missing the point...whether i put up money and lost or won wouldn't much matter. If i lost, all Scott would be doing is betting my return (which could be negavitve lol) over a s 6 month period. so that would make an "annnoying" person like you more likely to put credence in what he was saying? that would be pretty stupid - not that i would put it past you. And if i beat him, would SM go away? Quit, not give advice? I don't think so, and i'm not out to get customers or a following like he is, so..WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO GAIN?" He has to prove himself better than other's you might listen to - other pros..yes, i' m quite confident i would win the contest but not the war, since it wouldn't prove anything but that i had a better return than him over 6 months. Why not look at the orig post i wrote - where he claimed money was being transferred by avon? for the purchase of obagi, which was silly and didn't come true, then sold out hisposition, only for obagi to be bought out months later. and admitting his info was based on "what he heard"? That's a pro lol? And the ridiculous notion that ATRS would raise money - and BEFORE apporval no less.. it makes no sense..that should be a warning sign enough he's said some very illogical things. there is no slander, no accusation of having a fake job..if this is the type of person you wish to follow, by all means do so. but my beating him in a "worthless" challenge wouldn't do anything to prove or disprove anything to you. You'll have to lose your own money by listening to him for that to happen.
the other thing you have to realize, is that even if you did beat me (which i highly doubt) it wouldn't prove your advice is good...if you made 15 percent over the period and i broke even , what would that prove? i brought up certain points in your logic in my orig post which was wildly flawed, imo...that's a reason not to invest with you - whether you could beat me or not...If i knew nothing about plumbing, and there were 2 plumbers out there, both better than me, it doesn't mean i should use the less competent one simply because he's better than ME. He has to be better than the other plumber.. Comprende?
that's a fair offer, if i had both the time and desire to do something like that - AND we took tthe time to establish the rules and agreed on them..I have neither the time or ambition...i've been retired for over 6 years and no longer trade for others, merely myself, and have no "need" to show others how good of a trader I am...you do - ur the one with the newsletters, making some irrational statements which i simply brought to light. As I said , you haven't even traded in a bear market - or more likely, you have, only you don't disclose those years, only the past 2 two, in which anyone could've thrown a dart at a newspaper and made money
and anyone's record in the last two years should be STELLAR..we're in the midst of of one the biggest bull markets..when you've been thru a couple of bear ones, then we'll chat more, okay? lol
and i got offers from troster, herzog , and mayer and schweitzer (bought out by schwab)...so when u come to know what ur talking about , instead of relying on tips and rumors, and u actually understand the mkts and how they work, get at me, big boy..and i do mean big
how can ur disagreeing with mgmt haev any validity, when ur strategy is to do a secondary pre fda approval...ur only as good as ur last call...try to remember that. You really flushed me out...i love the anonymity part, "delweine" LOL
that was 13 out of 3300...i turned 500k into over a milliion...so , if u wanna use ur daddys money and put up 50k , lmk....it miight help ur sullied rep u if you were smart enough to get registered as SOMEthing - fin. advisor. whatever...
yeah, sure...i was top 13 in the CNN/USA trading Challenge in 1992 - last year it was done, out of 3300 ppl...i worked on trading desk for the 3rd largest OTC mm, and have a degree from wharton..so anytime u wanna put up, lmk...great call on the financing lol...what were they gonna use that money for? LOL
anyone who actually uses MONEY to follow what he says deserves to lose...he knows very little about the markets...starting with atrs, he called a secondary, BEFORE fda approval? The co. has 69mm in cash, and they're going to do a secondary w/o approval? why do they need the money, and who would invest at a good price (for atrs) before they got approval. Made 0 sense....even after approval there's no secondary or need for money...he has no logic. then he picked a cosmetic stock as takevover (he heard they were being bought out)..that's about the extent of his knowledge...getting either inside info or rumors about it..then he claimed it was going to be one particular suitor since they transferred money to their bank accounts - which was definitley indicative they were making a purchase (Avon maybe?). So then the takeover never happened, the stock tanked, he said he made a mistake, got out of his position, and month later a takeover happened..so that's talent? and his article didn't move atrs last time..atrs moved atrs..it was right about pdufa time
whogo - it's 4 weeks to the pdufa date and the stock is .40 away from it's highest moving average. that can be made up in one day...it's not normal but it's not abnormal
