Verizon has been firing bosses pretty aggressively since the last strike in 2012. The cell towers are linked back to their switches through circuits that are indeed provisioned and maintained by CWA technicians.
Most of the management that came up through the ranks has retired or been fired. Now VZ has a management team that is former retail, bankers, straight out of college, etc. The knowledge that they have is not going to fix those cell towers. VZ cannot afford a strike.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I think people should know what they are eating. That's all. There are a lot of food intolerance issues now that didn't seem to be here a decade ago, and they aren't appearing in other countries.
They haven't trained anybody in anything. What a joke.
So you allow corporations and the government decide what's best? You think they know something you don't ?
I get sick from food. It wasn't always like this, only about 2 years ago. I went to the hospital in an ambulance. Long story short a bunch of doctors don't know why. If I eat organic I feel good. I read all labels and try to avoid GMO food as much as possible, but it seems like theyare trying to sneak it in wit out labeling it and that makes me not trust them.
Yeah the wire line side bears all the expenses to make the other products look more profitable. That has been going on for years, even decades now.
Verizon management vows to do the absolute minimum if there is a strike to keep the company limping along. Its the least they can do, and their customers are used to it.
Last strike was called on 1201 Sunday morning and VZ was ready. Now the company is walking on egg shells, knowing at any moment strike can be called. Good call CWA. Go get'em.
I have extensively and I have found that they do not. Let me explain. I ate a pretty healthy diet most of adult life. Meats veggies fruits. Snacks were ice cream cookies. Drinks basically water milk and coffee. Beer on weekends. I go to the gym4 to 5 times a week and lift weights. Started getting stomach pains 1 day at the age of 41 figured it was just gas or something and after a few days had to call an ambulance to take me in at 130 am because I woke up and thought my stomach was going to explode. The did x rays and sonogram and found nothing. Gave me some softeners and pain pills and said to check with a stomach doctor. Got a MRI, said looks like my insides are bruised but nobody knows how or why. Got colonoscopy, nothing there either. They said to maybe avoid gluten, didn't really seem to know. Did an eliminator diet, and slowly added things back to my diet. Found out soy hurts, not sure if it matters if they are round up ready or not, I avoid it. Most things hurt, but soy definitely kills me. How can you wake up one day and not be able to eat anything?
Started trying organic things and fresh meat and it seems to not affect me at all. I can drink almond milk and eat ice cream made from coconut milk.
I avoid GMO as much as possible, I don't know if it matters or not because they don't label it.
Easier to just build more hospitals and force health care on everybody. More profitable too. Funny how unhealthy everybody is though.
